From the supplier: An unusual case of multiple cerebral abscesses in both hemispheres accompanied by hemorrhage was diagnosed after minimally invasive craniotomy guided by magnetic resonance imaging. Streptococcus intermedius infection was found to be the cause of the abscesses. Intravenous antimicrobial therapy was provided, with resolution of the abscesses occurring in five months. The case indicates that cerebral ring-enhancing lesions with hemosiderin deposition can have causes other than subacute hemorrhage or metastatic neoplasms.
