A great book
This was a terrific book; it's not for specialized use, nor does it make any pretension to be.It has extraordinary organization that I think should be the standard for all such books.It is concise, well written,and covers a lot of territory.For anyone who wants a good reference thatis easily understood and is full of really important information, Irecommend this.

A student's view of this book
I found that Hansen only gives a brief overview of diseases, processes, and treatments.Too little time is spent developing the biology.The one nice aspect is the chapters begin with a brief overview of anatomy andphysiology in the "normal" healthy population. Overall, I found Ihad to use additional resources to supplement my reading in order to get aclear idea of each disease.I would NOT recommend this book. ... Read more
