5-0 out of 5 stars A practical, comprehensive guide
Wilson's Disease: A Clinician's Guide to Recognition, Diagnosis, and Management
Wilson's Disase for the Patient and Family
A concise, yet comprehensive guide written in a very practical manner. As an epidemiologist I would love to see more information on genogeography and adiscussion on possible advantages of heterozygotes, but I understand that this may be of little interest for clinicians.
The companion volume is excellent: practical, explaining difficult questions to lay people in plain words, yet scientifically.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Resource for those seeking info about Wilson's Disease
The author of this book was the doctor that treated me after my diagnosis of Wilson's Disease. The book is easy to understand and up to date with all of the info one needs.Since Wilson's disease is very very rare, many doctors may steer you down the wrong road when it comes to treatment. In most cases you should simply follow your doctor's advice, but with Wilson's disease a mistake can make a huge difference in your quality of life for the rest of your life. Some of the drugs used to treat this condition have irreversable side effects. So get this book, question your primary doctor, and make sure you see one of the very few experts on Wilson's disease BEFORE commencing treatment. ... Read more
