Book Description
Carpal-tunnel and other entrapment syndromes are perhaps themost common work-related injuries currently reported. With this book,Vladimir Golovchinsky presents the first evidence of double-crushsyndrome as a subgroup of these.
To date the existence of double-crush syndrome has been a matter ofdebate. Dr. Golovchinsky presents a statistical analysis ofsubstantial clinical material, which finds a cause-and-effectrelationship between cervical or lumbar radiculopathy and peripheralentrapment in corresponding nerves, thus proving the existence ofdouble-crush syndrome.
This book will be invaluable to physicians performing EMG-NCVtesting and to other healthcare professionals who encounter peripheralentrapment syndromes in their practices. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Double Crush Syndrome
I came across Double Crush Syndrome (DCS) while preparing for a lecture. I had read ~30 primary sources, key articles, and I was well aware of the literature, issues, and controversies.I therefore was shocked when I read DCS. 1) Some topics, CTS or TTS, were OK but in no way compare in quality or PRICE to standards like Entrapment Neuropathies by Dawson, et al ($25! used/new ).2) The cherry picking and biased presentation of the literature to support the authors view is troubling. 3) Regarding the statistics & analysis, well as Mark Twain said "3 kinds of lies: lies, dam lies, & statistics".In conclusion, I had to buy this for a lecture, but NO ONE else needs to buy this! ...
