Abstract: Sexual function disorders involve an interruption in sexual desire or performance,1 and although commonly experienced, may not be frequently acknowledged by patients and/or primary care physicians. Results of the Global Study of Sexual Attitudes and Behaviors (GSSAB), a 29-country, survey-based study of men and women 40 to 80 years of age, indicate that although 43% of sexually active men had experienced at least one sexual problem, only 18% sought treatment (Figure 1).2 As a result of this tendency for individuals not to seek treatment, sexual function disorders may be under-diagnosed and subsequently under-treated. One potential explanation for avoiding treatment seeking is that patients may be embarrassed to discuss sexual issues with physicians. Great Follow-up!

Grab both of these books, if your husband or yourself has any problems in the bedroom.These books cover it all: erectile problems, impotence, premature ejaculation, low self esteem, bedroom anxiety, you name it.I am a marriage counselor, and I find myself constantly recommending these books.As we all know, most marriage problems can be quickly solved by more intimacy in the bedroom, and these books definetely help with that!

My husband swallowed his pride, and it worked!

Seems like some of these reviewers missed the point, or are grinding an impotent axe in one-eyed fury. If you have a brain, it will tell you that the book's sub-title is a clear statement by the author that he is fully aware of his work's status as provocative juvenilia.
Having said that, as provocative juvenilia goes, it's often up there with the provocative juvenilia of Anger, d'Este, Rimbaud, Heliogabalus, and Starkweather.
Me, I'm just looking forward to next year's graphic novel...

Just for the sake of Balance
I was suprised to see this book getting a bit of kicking in the reviews section as I was really bowled over by it. So I was a bit puzzled intil I discovered the other reviewers seemed to be mainly fans of fairly conventional fiction and/or fantasy etc. If thats your thing chances are you'll HATE Havoc, and so you should. However, if like me your (A) fairly open minded and (B)like a bit of William Burroughs, David Britton, Octave Mirbeau and even have an interest in Huysmans and Georges Bataille, you'll appreciate this. Containing some madly inventive imagery it's a totally unhinged, stubbornly uncompromising and deranged collection. The White Skull Novella which Alan Moore described as "Feverishly Good" is by far the Highlight of the Collection, the rest of the work is fairly fragmentary but still well worth a read if your in any way intrested in the writers mentioned above or surrealism in general.

Imagery
Okay, I don't actually own this book but I've got copies of Satanskin and White Skull which are included here. Satanskin is pretty good, if you like the intense imagery you get from writers like Burroughs and Rimbaud. White Skull is one of my favorite books, combining stream of conscience with hellish images and super intense pros. If you're a collector of art in the avant garde you should have this.

Should be repackaged as a parody
I read this a few years ago.Whoever is behind the publicity for this embarrassment must be commended.I had heard great things about this book, how shocking and genuinely evil it supposedly was.Well, it wasn't.I can't recall the specifics, but I do remember clearly that while I was reading it (and for a brief period after I finished it) I had this image of a young teenage kid, growing up bored in rural America, no friends except a few drug buddies, sitting alone in the attic of his parents' house tripping hard, furious with the world and the people in it, thinking he's writing the most evil story in the world.Problem is, he's an uneducated kid who know absolutely nothing about writing. OK, I don't know if any of that is true or not, but I do know that the author comes off as someone with zero writing skills who resorts to juvenile tricks that do nothing but highlight how bad writing can be.To call Havoc an "author" is an insult to real authors everywhere.(...)

I read this book a couple of years ago, and bear scars upon my retinas because of it.This collection is the most godforsaken piece of trash I have ever had the misfortune to experience.I would love to know how much the writer of the foreward was paid to praise James Havoc as some sort of unappreciated literary genuis that the rest of humanity simply cannot comprehend.Please note also, the effort to add a bit of intregue in order to boost sales from "zero" to "meager," included is a tidbit documenting the author's mysterious disappearance, and allusions to the fact he may have been murdered.If this tidbit is indeed truthful, may I offer my wholehearted gratitude to the murderer(s); through your actions you have spared the cosmos from further undue suffering from Mr. Havoc's rambling, drug-fueled nonsense.If I could present you with an humanitarian award, it would be my pleasure to do so.However, if the tidbit is NOT true, and Mr. Havoc has resurfaced to spew more of his drivel, kindly urge him to return to the cesspit from whence he came.

This book should be read aloud to life-sentence inmates as a sly method to push them towards suicide in order to free up space in the prisons.
