To have an international assembly--the World Psychiatric Association--come to terms with this important subject is itself an event to be applauded.To have the WPA workgroup and staff produce an integrated, humane, intelligent, forward-looking guide is cause for celebration.I expected the writers to flinch from topics like birth control, abortion, and violence, but they did not.
