PCOS Diet
This is a good book when you are looking for answeres that no one seems to answer.It makes you realize that you are not the only one with PCOS.Assists with different ways to deal with it. there is a diet that I am going to start next week for 10 days and compare this past diet.Hope this diet works better.

Great book and excellent advice
I don't know why any one would think this book is terrible it's the only book I have encountered that has actual solutions for PCOS and success stories. As for finding things in the book in the US that really isn't a reason to knock this book and to shy away from buying it. And it's mainly for some recipes and the recipes are easy to change.It has alot of alternative suggestions to medications and it is just very logical read. Buy this book if you have PCOS, I think I have highlighted 90% of this book.

great!
As many have stated, this is a great book for explaining PCOS in non-technical/non-medical jargon. It's great for newly diagnosed women or for family/friends who are interested in learning about PCOS. I borrowed it from the library and it was version 2001. I'm going to look into buying the 2009 version to see if the information is more up-to-date.

The only downside, is like many books, it is American-centric with little to no information for Canadian PCOS women.

Great Book!
This is an excellent entry level book for those who "think" they might have PCOS. It gives a variety ranges for the different tests your doctor can perform as well as some treatment suggestions for different symptons. I think it's a great starting point.

I love this book! Its helped me out alot!!!
I just love this book! There has been so much infomation in this book that has helped me out. Things I worried about my body, but never knew is was assocaited with PCOS. This is my first book on PCOS so Im not sure how it rates compared to the others. I def. recommend this book for anyone that has PCOS or think they might have it. I have a more understanding of PCOS because of this book.

Basic, but one of the better PCOS books
A few years ago it was hard to find books about PCOS, and even when you did- most likely your book store did not carry them. I read a lot of PCOS books that were not very well written. SO when I saw this one I decided to see if it was at my local library. It was. I read it, and then went out and bought it. This is one of the better books for understanding PCOS. The tone is positive, unlike some other PCOS books. It is divided well, and has a lot of good information, and references.
For someone who had been newly diagnosed this is definitely the book to start with.

This is a lame book.There is a better choice!
I got this book and another "PCOS the Hidden Epidemic"It was nearly embarassing to own this one once I'd read the other.After being diagnosed I received care from a specialist with this disorder.It isn't widely understood and most doctors are fairly ignorant about the issues of PCOS.This book simply offers some of the same poor information that standard doctors have.If you are facing this issue, I recommend the other book.It is much more indepth and answers questions this book doesn't even know to ask. ...
