From the supplier: Torticollis predisposes babies to develop deformational posterior plagiocephaly. Torticollis correction, whether surgical or using physical therapy, may be helpful. Usually no laboratory or radiologic testing is used unless there is suspected infection or bony abnormality. Passively stretching the neck 5-6 times each day at diapering time is used. Changing position of the crib relative to the door and changing the position of crib toys and mobiles will get the child to look the other way. Upright or prone postures would be better in awake time.
