4-0 out of 5 stars Well-rounded coverage of vulvar pain disorders for the layperson
I think this book is a good addition to my growing library of vulvodynia books.I actually wish I'd bought it sooner - it covers just about everything that I've found online by multiple web searches.I don't think it offered me much new information as far as causes of vulvar pain disorders (essentially unknown) or treatments, but the authors are definitely advocates of not blaming yourself for your pain and the importance of properly treating it.There's a chapter on "adaptive sex" (my term for sex when your vulva is disabled) and relationships that I think is really important for any woman or partner of with vulvar pain.

3-0 out of 5 stars Helpful guide
This book is very well written. It disribed VP very well. But unfortunately, there is no ressources in that book for women who live outside USA.

5-0 out of 5 stars helpful resource
I have suffered with this condition for over seven years now.Reading this book has offered insight into new treatment possibilites I haven't yet explored. It has also been a comfort to read about others who struggle with this pain on a daily basis as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Vulvodynia Bible
This book is so full of information and different things to try. There is no one cure all for all who are affected. This book gives you many things to try and the knowledge that at some point there will be relief from the pain.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Vulvodynia Survival Guide
Great book for women to read.It will be of great help in my practice as a menopause clinician.I refer patients to read regarding a healthcare situation and this book will be very helpful and informative for them. It is a great addition to my library. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I Hope My Money at Least Benefitted Something
I'm very sorry to say this, since my guess is (or at least my hope is) that the proceeds from this book go toward research or the like, but this book is as useful as printing out the internet. You literally look through comments copied from the internet site - seriously, they have published the internet. I honestly feel like you can join[...]or a similar site and read through comments that will be just as helpful. They didn't collect stories or cures, they really just printed people's comments in discussion forums. Please exhaust all other accessible (read: free, the internet) avenues before paying so much for this book. ... Read more
