Brush up on those basic math skills.
The Basic Essentials of Mathematics is a two book series that deal in the basics of math.I use these books for my Adult Basic Education and GED classes.Once a student has completed the two books they have enough math to successfully pass the GED exam.I like these books because it covers all the basic functions in only two small books in which students feel comfortable and and not as overwhelmed as they often do with the big GED books on the market.These books are self directed and can be used by anyone whishing to improve on all that high school math they have forgotten. ... pilot formulas
I was disappointed with this product. I ordered this book as a gift for a pilot who also teaches. I'm still going to give him the gift, but it looks as if I made it as a school project. Not high quality at all. And yeah, there's no index either. I really want to return this item, but I don't want to pay the return shipping fees.

P.S. If you click on the larger image of this "book," the image is actually larger than the real-life book.

pilot's rules of thumb, easy aviation formulas

The book does contain many of the generalized ways of quickly working some of the problems confronted by an aviator.I was disappointed in the quality of print and paper.

waste of money
Not as advertized. No index so you waste time fishing for the info. If you remember square root in your head or tanget angles then this is help full. lots of useless information. only 49 pages at 3.5 by 5.5 inches.

Love this book!
I am planning on attending ATP school next year and I find this book to be very informative when I am studying or using the flight simulator. I have used it extensively. needs to have a sturdier binding!
