Product Description
The Energy Psychology Self-help Guide is part of an internationally acclaimed program designed to teach individuals the basic principles of energy psychology, which can be used to deliberately shift emotions by focusing on the body’s energy system.

• A brief, practical introduction for the general public.

• A resource for therapists to give to their clients.

• Clear instructions for bringing about quick and powerful changes in emotions, thoughts and behavior patterns.

• Learn the basic steps for addressing specific problems and goals, for uplifting your mood and optimizing your energy.

Originally written for the clients of psychotherapists who used the acclaimed Energy Psychology Interactive program, this small self-help guide is proving itself to be a powerful, user-friendly introduction for anyone wishing to learn the important methods offered by energy psychology.

Energy psychology brings a new genre of tools for facilitating desired changes in emotions, thought, and patterns of behavior. While it introduces unfamiliar methods and ideas, such as the notion that psychological patterns are coded not only in your neurons but also in your energies (the approach draws heavily from the principles of acupuncture), evidence of its effectiveness is growing.

Energy Psychology Interactive has been reviewed, revised, and endorsed by 26 recognized leaders and innovators within the field of energy psychology, who comprise its primary consultants and formal Advisory Board.

A Prototype of Energy Psychology Interactive, the version for psychotherapists, received the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) "Outstanding Contribution Award" for 2002. ... Read more

Heal Your Self - A Journey to Find You empowers readers to access and permanently remove this wall, or subconscious cause of their emotional distress and life difficulties with a revolutionary technique called Greene s Release.

The Greene s Release Technique is accredited with transforming how people view emotional trauma, life s drama, the ability to permanently heal and release their cause and rediscover the freedom to be themselves.

Now we can let ourselves dream because we know how to remove the cause of any obstacle with the Greene s Release technique.

It is empowering to realize by doing these exercises I am holding my life in my hands. I have the power to live my life as I would like, as I decide to create it. It is entirely up to me. 5-0 out of 5 stars Feel Your Emotions and Release Them to Heal and Live
Janet Greene has written a comprehensive, intense and yet deceptively simple book about her emotional release technique, Greene's Release. We carry around painful emotions and feelings that we tend to bury, but in reality they never go away. This books shows a simple but effective technique to feel your emotions fully, and release any and all of the pain, so you never have to be burdened by it again. Elaine Williams, author A Journey Well Taken: Life After Loss.

5-0 out of 5 stars What does it take to overcome the emotional wounds, painful memories, fears and negative beliefs that control our lives?
People commonly assume that you either have to undergo years of therapy sessions (discuss the issue until you resolve it in your mind), continually repeat affirmations every time you feel uncomfortable (keep telling yourself to ignore what you feel and believe the opposite), or just accept that you feel bad about something in your past.

Often, those who have worked to `release' their emotional wounds, are surprised to discover that these emotions (which have merely been tucked away and not released, as many techniques claim to do) are still creating havoc in their daily life and can resurface with the same level of strength and distress at any time.

There is an alternative!

Greene's Release is a simple, yet highly effective technique that permanently releases the underlying cause of any emotional distress in one single session. So much so that the person can think of the particular issue again afterwards and feel absolutely nothing, or blank.

"It is amazingly powerful because it is real" says Janet Greene, creator and author of Greene's Release.

Resolve issues instead of staying in the drama. You can either spend your time in the drama of wanting to escape situations and emotions, or decide to end them permanently by resolving their cause with Greene's Release.

Instant and Permanent Relief. Just one session of Greene's Release finalizes the releasing process for that topic, therefore eliminating the need to repeatedly address the same feelings and emotions.

Universally applicable. This releasing process can be applied to any emotion, memory, fear, problem, worry, anxiety, or thought etc., therefore is applicable to every life issue.

After using Greene's Release people know what and why they had struggled with an issue, how it was created and had impacted on their lives. They see it all clearly with a calm mind and can now go on to live the opposite experience as all repercussions have dissolved.

The Greene's Release technique, which has transformed the lives of people around the world, is now available in an inexpensive, activity based workbook format. The Heal Your Self workbook program will show you how to reclaim your life and rediscover a new you, free of fear and painful emotions, while the Heal Your Heart workbook program will show you how to bring your ultimate dream of love to life, free of past memories, hurts and fears.

In her book, Heal Your Self - A Journey to find You, Janet Greene reforms the concept of releasing. The book's premise is simple: All you have to do to permanently resolve any issue is follow the release process. Because, when you use Greene's Release to heal and remove your pain, all that is left is happiness; when you use Greene's Release to erase your heartache, all that is left is love; when you use Greene's Release to eliminate your negative beliefs, all that is left is love of self; when you use Greene's Release to release your emotional trauma, all that is left is peace.

The Greene's Release program will show you how to realize your life potential by showing you the steps to rediscover your innate ability to permanently resolve any issue, and open the door to the extraordinary personal growth that naturally follows each release.

With simple, step by step instruction and practical exercises to apply to your current circumstances, the Greene's Release program is an experience that empowers you to discover and continually build upon your own understanding, knowledge and ability to self direct your life.

The Greene's Release Program: The key to Your Inner Peace, Love, and Personal Freedom. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great book - nuff said
i found this book in a warehouse book sale and i was intrigued by its title (need i say more?). though brown-paged and a little bent on the front cover, the marked down price was reasonable enough for purchase. and am i glad i bought it! i've never read such an entertaining psych book, it's almost like reading a scintillating short story (of his 5 memorable patients). if you're like me who is only interested in novels that have engaging wordplay and not too much of complicated, freudian psychobabble, this is the book for you. stuffy freudian psychobabblians will also like this book as it does not give out a too commercial feel in its writing. in short, a book both loved by critics and readers.

5-0 out of 5 stars How does a psychotherapist rate his work?
Towards the end of his working life, Robert Akeret sets out to see whether his work has achieved its goal. Have his past patients gone on to live fulfilling, if not normal lives? He contacts a number of his patients and relates the condition for which they came in for treatment and the experience of recontacting the patient and finding out what has become of them. Sounds pretty ordinary, however as usual, truth is stranger than fiction and the conditions that he has dealt with are sometimes strange beyond belief. A totally absorbing read. A shame it is not readily available. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars ANOTHER REEALING WORK FROM ROGERS
Carl Rogers (1902-1987) was an influential American psychologist and (along with Abraham Maslow) among the founders of humanistic psychology.

He states in the Introduction to this 1977 book, "Most notably (cultural change) has altered the thinking about power and control in relationships between persons. That is what this book is about. So you will find in these pages many men and women who are walking softly through life---and creating a revolution as they do so. The book tells of homes and schools and industries and interfaces between races and cultures, all of which have been drastically changed by persons who trust their own power, do not feel a need to have 'power over,' and who are willing to foster and facilitate the latent strength in the other person... These changes indicate that a quiet revolution is already under way. They point to a future of a very different nature, built around a new type of self-empowered person who is emerging."

Here are some quotations from the book:

"It is not just that I am a slow learner, that I have only recently realized my political impact." (Ch. 1)
"The politics of the client-centered approach is a conscious renunciation and avoidance by the therapist of all control over, or decision-making for, the client." (Ch. 1)
"My influence has always been increased when I have shared my power or authority." (Ch. 5)
"It is very rare for the impact of a person-centered approach to move upward in the organization." (Ch. 5)
"(T)he potential to learn and the power to act lie within the person---rather than in an expert dealing with him or her, or in a system controlling him or her." (Ch. 8)
"What I say is based on wide personal observation, on interactions with diverse individuals and groups, on my reading. It is an informaal speculation, with all the possibility of error and bias that that implies." (Ch. 12)

5-0 out of 5 stars A Daring New Paradigm
Carl Rogers dares to develop a non-hierarchical paradigm of human relationships. He explores key social structures and institutions, including marriage, education, parenting and administration, with the view that all persons in the relationships are inherantly of equal value. "On Personal Power" is refreshingly optimistic, with a tinge of "the dawning of the Age of Aquarius" flavor, which may motivate some baby boomers to ask themselves, "What ever happened to our hopes and endeavors?"

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
Books aren't always going to give people insight or truly cover the scope of their feelings, but no matter what your first inclination towards this book is, it will present some things that may even give you a hint of new insight or a new way of looking at things. What Rogers describes becomes almost a "mystical" sensation, one of the few life affirming attitudes that help us rule out logical paradigms and be comfortable with our feelings. ... Read more
