    Extractions: The greatest danger which the Muslim world faces today is from the Bahaiis. This rapidly growing, colonial-backed sect is fast penetrating into the ranks and folds of the Muslims. Their main target are the Muslims and they are deviating a considerable number of them from the straight path. Hence it is our duty to make our Muslims brothers aware of this danger, and devise methods to prevent them. The seeds of Bahaiism were sown by Mirza Ali Mohammed Bab, the founder of Babism in Iran. (earlier, during the time of Ali Mohammed Bab the sect was known as Babism and when Bahaullah took over it got the name Bahaism). Bab was born on October 20, 1819 in Shiraz in Iran. His father’s name was Mirza raza Bazzaz who was a merchant by profession. His mother’s name was fatime Khanum. When he was 7 years of age, he went to study under Shaikh Abid. Shaikh Abid was a scholar of the Shaikhiya sect, and so he infused all the ideas of the Shaikhiya sect into the mind of Mohammed Bab. Under Shaikh Abid he studied Persian, Calligraphy, and some elementary Arabic grammar. After Shaikh Abid, he studied under another teacher by the name of Mohammed. It was about this teacher that Ali Mohammed Bab wrote in one of his epistles, "O my teacher Mohammed! Don’t thrash me too much!"
