A very wise book indeed!
The Yellow Book is a wonderful treatise on a variety of esoteric and spiritual matters.Within its pages one finds practical information on a variety of subjects:the chakras, kundalini, astral projection, etc.Everything presented is essentially practical; very little theory is given, save what is needed to allow the student to practice.

Those readers who are interested in Gnosis but have never read anything by Master Samael Aun Weor may prefer to begin with a more basic book, such as Revolutionary Psychology.Never the less, anyone who works with the practices given the Yellow Book will be richly rewarded with practical knowledge and a more profound understanding of spirituality in general.

Nothing Special
To me, the writing seemed fragmented and incohesive. There are volumes upon volumes of better types of books available on psychology, sociology and spiritual matters.

Unique in Samael's ouvre
In this book Samael Aun Weor talks about and explains the history of the planet Earth, the Cosmic Rounds/the Root Races, Black and White Initiation and the differences between awakening positively and negatively.There is much revealed about Atlantis, its civilization, people and rise and fall. He also openly reveals the truths to the public consciousness about the "Black Lodge".

All of this is very fitting as the book also deals with the story of the how he helped transform a demon, which he explains is now living with a female body and reincarnated in France!

Huge Disappointment
I had high hopes for this work, based on some of the other reviews here and the description of the book. What I found after starting to read is a book that goes against what the vast majority of other texts and schools consider to be the correct attributions for the card meanings when applying Hebrew letters. This was the first major diversion from other widely known and accepted principles, and it just got worse from there. This book seems highly slanted toward a 'christian' gnosticism viewpoint, and might as well be a book of dogma. I was not impressed at all by this.

The author's reasoning for all of this is that he has "experienced" his gnosis as opposed to others who "just write about it" but have never really experienced it. I think this is a rather egocentric viewpoint coming from someone who was supposedly enlightened to begin with. I don't buy it, and don't buy into all of the dogma associated with what he is purporting to be 'enlightenment', either.

I don't recommend this book, and further don't recommend his philosophy on enlightenment, either. In fact, from other people's statements on his works and reputation, he and his followers are very dogmatic and cultish. From the writing in this book, I can see how that could be easily true.

As advanced of a book this is, I wholeheartedly recommend it to all human beings who wish to improve their spiritual life and their spiritual knowledge.

Beyond Myself.
I study this book because 5% of me understands it, while the other 95% sincerely yearns to.

I am not ashamed to state that this book strikes in me a universal, pure, and edified emotional key register.Iam grateful because it secretly invigorates and harmonizes my intellectual and emotional inner lives.

While not a profound Kabbalist, I strongly urge anyone interested in the studies of Tarot or the Kabbalah to study this book.For those more simply and earnestly interested in the canon and teachings of Samael Aun Weor, I would, perhaps, direct them to shorter and less abstract works such as The Perfect Matrimony, Revolutionary Psychology, or The Great Rebellion.

Blows Away the Cobwebs
The study of the Kabbalah has become so popularized, yet most of the books and material that people study are simply repeating the same words over and over, with no real comprehension of where the knowledge has come from.Yet this book, like all the books written by Samael Aun Weor, comes like a flash of lightning, brilliantly revealing the underlying structure to all mystical knowledge.This is because it was written from experiential knowledge, not erudition.It expresses the essence of Gnosis: direct knowledge.I also recommend as a support for the study of this book that you visit gnostickabbalah.com.

Great Book
This is a very nice publication of this book.The paper, cover, binding, illustrations, are all very nicely done.

This book is one of Samael's "easier" books, it was the first I could really understand and immediately start to put into practice.At the same time it is very deep, covering a wide range of topics, and I seem to get more out of it every time I pick it up to read a passage.Definitely one of my favorites.

Greattranslation of a great work
This edition is from the non-profit Thelema Press, who's translations of this author (who wrote in Spanish) are the best i have seen.
The subject matter is one's inner psychology: what makes us do the things we do?Where do we get our perceptions from?Are we really in control of our lives?
This book is accessible to almost anyone, and can be revisited and understood on deeper levels each time.Resources that we have as individuals to change our lives and understand ourselves are presented.The material invites you to learn from yourself, to find your own experience and take charge of your own development.

A Spiritual Classic!
This is my favorite Samael book after "The Great Rebellion".It was written just after 1950 when he was starting his mission.

He weaves wonderous narrative with Akasic fact.He takes you one the journey of Jesus's initiation, which brings you to an understanding of how and what you should do to begin about your own journey of initiation as Jesus's is a perfect synthesis of all the ancient mystery schools initiatic paths.

Samael paints a terribly beautiful canvas where past and future are brought to your eyes in an instant.I also love his gift of prophecy and ability to give practical advice for spiritual students.

I am amazed at this book's content and give high praise to the author's courage!

Wisdom and Justice explained
This is an amazing book on spiritual science.

In it you will find amazing secrets paticularly dealing with biology, connecting the physical to the spiritual in man.

He uses philosophy of the East and West to explain our modern condition and explains how to regenerate our physical and spiritual parts.The second half of the book talks about how our society and Western science can move in a positive and truly progressive way to understanding the problems and riddles of man.

I am always amazed when I read this book because I am always finding new insights into the understanding of how the body works, how the mind and consciousness work and how psychic functions operate in positive and negative individuals.

(There is also a cure for diabetes in it, which I have known someone to use and was cured!) That alone is the worth of the book.

Truly amazing!

Eastern and Western Science Unified
I found this book to have excellent content and very enjoyable to read. The relationships between different organs and glands of the endocrine system are explained in various levels of detail. You can find the correspondences between the glands the chakras, for example.

The second half, concerning the esoteric aspects of criminology inform the reader that one's psychological space is deeply complex and without proper diligence and experience, one can mistranslate their own inner experiences which in turn create terrible outcomes. The absolute failure of modern psychology to help those with severe mental conflict (schizophrenia) is made note of, and how the "esoteric" sciences find success when modern science fails. ...
