Le rucher sur son aire d'hivernage Petite sortie de nos pensionnaires après un rayon de soleil fin décembre 1997 Une autre vue du rucher sur son site d'hivernage. Le rucher fin mai après les essaimages. Nucléï de fécondation. Ces nucléï permettent la fécondation des reines vierges. Capture d'une reine fécondée avant introduction dans une ruche orphelinée. Marquage de la reine avec la couleur de l'année. Clippage de la jeune reine. Présentation de la nouvelle reine dans sa cage avant l'introduction dans la ruche orphelinée. Extractions: Les miellées varient fortement selon la région. Les principales plantes mellifères sont le dent de lion, les arbres fruitiers, le colza, l'acacia, le châtaignier, le tilleul, le rhododendron ainsi que différentes espèces de feuillus et de conifères. La récolte de miel moyenne par ruche se situe à environ 10 kg et on peut espérer une récolte exceptionnelle de miellat qu'une fois tous les 10 ans. Avec 7 colonies par km2, la Suisse possède la plus haute densité de colonie au monde. La bonne répartition géographique des ruchers sur le territoire garantit pour l'instant encore la pollinisation des plantes cultivées et sauvages. En Suisse, le Conseil fédéral a complété l'ordonnance du DFE sur l'agriculture biologique avec le chapitre "Exigences concernant l'apiculture et les produits apicoles". Cette modification est entrée en vigueur au 1 er janvier 2002 et il est donc possible maintenant, en Suisse aussi, de convertir son exploitation apicole pour une production biologique. En juin 2001, l'association "api b io" a vu le jour. Le but de cette association est de favoriser l'apiculture biologique en Suisse. They are raised for honey production, crop pollination and beestock production. To thrive, bees need access to feed and water. Because bees must be kept close to blooming crops and over-wintered, beekeepers must move colonies several times throughout the year. Beekeeping may impact other parties. When it does, it is typically because of colony location, on-site management or transportation of live bees, and used beehive equipment.
