Some interesting contributions of unclear application
Quite an interesting book with some stimulating contributions; some more theoritical, some more application orientated.By the same token, the collection is a little bit neither fish nor fowl.There is a lack of direction and focus overall that to an extent I feel reflects the relatively unprofessionalised character of applied anthropology in Australia.However, this may also be percieved as an advantage becaues many of the ideas presented have a freshness not always apparent in some of the cookie-cutter proffessionalism coming out of the United States. ...
