Silent first
Paul Hater is an international thief known for jewel steal. He know more than anyone can guess and may even lose an eye while trying to uncover facts. When Hater is arrested in possession of a stolen necklace, the police wants to persuade him to reveal the location of the rest of the collection by using every possible motive He remains silent and has to go to prison for twenty-year sentence. The International Detective Agency, acting on behalf of the insurers, must patiently await Hater's release before they can hope to find out more because they have tried all mean possible to get their fact to no avail. But just as his day of release approaches, Hater is kidnapped by a ruthless international gang determined to force the secret from him and prepared to go to any lengths to do so. What a damn mishap. A Look Back at 1980
Although never an especially popular book with the general public, it is a well executed, valuable part of the history of late 20th century interior design.Rather than a typical showcase of interiors, the book typically features a two page spread on the designer with quotes about their philosophy followed by a two page spread of color photos of their work.Simple but effective.Thanks to the international mix of the great names of the day, it is not monotonous.Some photos are rare looks into the then-current design directions while others are photos that have appeared many times in various publications.Of those surviving, it is interesting to follow the stylistic development (or not) of the designers over these past 28 years.And it is interesting to see whose work holds up to today's taste, this reviewer's criteria for a truely classic designer.Definitely recommended for all interested in the modern history of interior design.

This book presents English and Ponape versions of the stories, legends, and histories originally transcribed by anthropologists attached to the Thilenius South Sea Expedition of 1908-1910. The natives of the Marshall Islands in Micronesia who related these stories are identified, but the material is much older and represents the cultural heritage of the Ponapean nation which had been orally transmitted for centuries before.
