Extractions: One of the most interesting things at the Jagfest 2K1 show were the prototype Jaguar games as well as some of the betas still in development for the system. I personally came out to see Thea Realm Fighters knowing the MK history behind it, but I was surprised to see the quality in some of the games shown. Games like Total Carnage should have been released and sported perhaps the most innovative use of a Jaguar controller I'd ever seen. Wichita, Kan. - Former Wichita Stealth quarterback Ron Lopez signed on Friday with the Carolina Cobras of the Arena Football League and on Sunday Lopez played in his first AFL game since July 22, 2001. Before being replaced in the fourth quarter, Lopez was 12-of-27 for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Despite a career-high 180 yards by Cobras' receiver Bernard Holmes, the Cobras were still unable to get their first victory of the season and fell to 0-6.
