Extractions: News and Info The American Bicycle Polo Association (mostly Battelle and local folks) didn't manage to field a team for the 5th International Championship, held in Paris this year, so I joined Team Canada as thier fifth player. Four players are on the field, and six on a team, so Canada was much stronger for having a substitute. Each team had to contribute to the pool of referees, timekeepers and umpires, which would have been quite a burden for a team of four. The trip was very intense, lots of fun and pretty successful (see photos and link
