Skeleton is a sport of extreme precision, concentration, and fearlessness. Bobsled is one of the fastest Winter Olympic Sports where speeds reach 80-90 mph, winners are decided by 1/100ths of a second, and athletes race down a track that averages 1300 meters long. Today the sport features three racing divisions: Men's two-man, Men's four-man, and Women's two-man bobsled with the US team competing in the International World Cup Racing circuit and the Winter Olympic Games. There are two types of athletes in bobsled: drivers and pushers. The drivers steer the sled and are the leaders of the team, while the pushers must execute a fast start.
