Extractions: Lansing Disc Golf ATTENTION MID MICHIGAN DISC GOLFERS 1997 CAPITAL CITYRENEGADES CLUB MEMBERSHIP The Capital City Renegades (C.C.R.) promote Disc Golf in the Greater Lansing Area including Grand Ledge and the State of Michigan. The club organizes leagues, tournaments, and all sorts of Disc Golf games thru out the week. Join us for league play on TUESDAYS beginning April 8 th, 1997 at Grand Woods Park in Lansing. Registration up to 5:50 pm, tee off time is at 6:00 pm. All levels of play and ages are welcome. League play is a draw doubles (best shot) where a novice player and a experienced player are paired up to form a team. You do not have to be a club member to play. The cost is $5 which includes $1 for the ace pool. If no one hits an ace, the money is carried over to the next week. Prizes are awarded each week form INFLIGIHT SPORTS and the CCR Disc Golf Club. To become a member of C C R Disc Golf Club just fill out the attached membership form. The cost is $20 for new members, which includes a Club Disc or a tee shirt and a year end party. Annual renewal is $10. You will also receive information thru the mail about upcoming Capital City Renegade events as well as events thru out the state. We also work with other Michigan Disc Golf Clubs to get their information to you. The Capital City Renegades has a tag challenge for club members. You will receive a numbered tag and can challenge other club members for their tags, no matter how far the numbers are apart. If the challenger wins, he/she will exchange tags. The cost is included in your membership and prizes will be adwarded at the year end party for the top players.

Extractions: What's New 4th Big Spring Fling April 5-6 2003 Comanche Trail Park, Big Spring Texas InnerPole is pleased to announce the upcoming Big Spring Fling Dsic Golf Tournament to be held at the "Brand Spankin' New" Comanche Trail Park (CTP) disc golf course. This new course consists of 18 Mach 5 targets and some beautiful, varied terrain. The tourney will consist of 2 rounds on Saturday and 1 on Sunday, with a final 9 showcase round for the Open division. Primitive camping is available on the course free of charge. Friday evening there will be a doubles round for those interested inplaying the course early. That is due to the support given by all of the sponsors and especially all of the players that showed up this year. I was very pleased to have 77 players this year, which is almost double the turnout from last year. I am already brainstorming about ways to make The Classic even bigger and better next year. The basket giveaway generated $400 that went directly into the payouts. Don Cook won the throw off. This meant, Don won a Discraft Chainstar with a portable base for $12. I have ran a calculation on World Class Par for the Boomer Lake hole course. I used the score from 2001 and 2002 since the weather was nearly perfect both weekends. The WCP for Boomer Lake is 48.38.
