El reino de Koguryo fue fundado en el año 37 antes A.C. en Corea del Norte. La Dinastía de Silla fue fundada en el año 57 A.C y Paekche fue fundado en el año 18 A.C. . Tang Soo Do es un estilo compuesto, 60% Soo Bahk, 30% de técnicas del norte de China (duro) y 10% del sur de China (suave). Las técnicas del pateo están basadas en Soo Bahk.
