There is some good info. here but it's missing allot too. There is no parts break down. Schematics are too small. Pretty basic.

Well I'm from northern Ohio and I primarily bought the book to learn my machines.I have two Gti's and they were 4years old when I bought them. The previous owner took the proper care of them strictly by there looks and performance when I tested them on the the water........ Well since the winters are sometimes very cold,I assumed that there was a very important process to winterize these skies . I also was told that I was to make sure I properly worked antifreeze into the unit to prevent and damage,But in this maual antifreeze is not even mentioned in this winterizing procedure. Well what'sup with that........is it unnecessary,or for some reason ,was it omited...........?thank you

5-0 out of 5 stars Super Helpful, Great Illustrations
The manual helped me fix a jet pump issue that likely would've cost me $150 to $200 at the marina. It was a $5 part and a couple of hours of work. They tell you and show you step by step how to do any repairs. The manual gives you confidence to do most routine maintenance and repairs. For $25, its worth it.You earn your money back the first time you use it.

Product Description
This report was created for global strategic planners who cannot be content with traditional methods of segmenting world markets. With the advent of a "borderless world", cities become a more important criteria in prioritizing markets, as opposed to regions, continents, or countries. This report covers the top 2000 cities in over 200 countries. It does so by reporting the estimated market size (in terms of latent demand) for each major city of the world. It then ranks these cities and reports them in terms of their size as a percent of the country where they are located, their geographic region (e.g. Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, Latin America), and the total world market.

In performing various economic analyses for its clients, I have been occasionally asked to investigate the market potential for various products and services across cities. The purpose of the studies is to understand the density of demand within a country and the extent to which a city might be used as a point of distribution within its region. From an economic perspective, however, a city does not represent a population within rigid geographical boundaries. To an economist or strategic planner, a city represents an area of dominant influence over markets in adjacent areas. This influence varies from one industry to another, but also from one period of time to another.

In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for the world's major cities for "personal watercraft" for the year 2009. The goal of this report is to report my findings on the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by a city when defined as an area of dominant influence. The reader needs to realize that latent demand may or may not represent real sales. ... Read more

Product Description
This econometric study covers the world outlook for personal watercraft across more than 200 countries. For each year reported, estimates are given for the latent demand, or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.), for the country in question (in millions of U.S. dollars), the percent share the country is of the region and of the globe. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a country vis-à-vis others. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each country and across countries, latent demand estimates are created. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved. This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the 230 countries of the world). This study gives, however, my estimates for the worldwide latent demand, or the P.I.E., for personal watercraft. It also shows how the P.I.E. is divided across the world's regional and national markets. For each country, I also show my estimates of how the P.I.E. grows over time (positive or negative growth). In order to make these estimates, a multi-stage methodology was employed that is often taught in courses on international strategic planning at graduate schools of business. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars They almost got it perfect...
I bought this manual mainly for torque specs and wiring/hose diagrams.... and it was pretty good!

...But I don't see any hose routing diagram for the 440/550... (which of course is what I NEEDED) ... there is one for the 300, there is one for the 650s (sx, x2) but not the 440/550's!!!

beyond that MAJOR overisght it's a good manual, if I'd have known of this shortcoming, I would have just ordered the Kawasaki manual (Which I would have preferred to begin with, but the wait for shipping was the deciding factor)

4-0 out of 5 stars Useful Tool
Excellent tool for the DIY'er, packed with photos and technical diagrams. 1 1/4 inches thick in black and white. I have used it extensively on rebuilding my JS550 and it has been a godsend for many things. Includes torque settings, carb adjustment settings, electrical wiring diagrams, explanations of how bilge system works, in depth fault finding procedures etc.etc. Only fault is it is hard to navigate and find things at first, but after studying it to the lengths I have, it is easy to find out what you want quickly after you understand the layout. A tip is to go through it with a highlighter and highlight everything relevant to your particular ski, THEN read it! Once you know what parts to disregard, it is much easier to understand! (Clymer is next best thing to a Haynes manual). Just waiting for one to come out for my 750SXi. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Useful but not great
The book, with the exception of the cover, appears to have been made on acopy machine. Very poor quality images. The repair and maintenanceprocedures covered aren't all that complete either. Some goodadvice andtips but don't expect to overhaul your Sea-Doo with this thing. If youalready have a factory shop manual this book would be a good supplement.

5-0 out of 5 stars Review of SeaDoo Tune up and Repair Manual 1992-1997
This is a fantastic book.It goes well beyond the inadequate operators guide. It helps you trouble shoot everything and learn all the parts. You can go from not knowing anything about watercraft to being a self mechanic. Also, it allows you to talk the jargon with SeaDoo repair shops so youdon't get the runaround when having maintenance done to your watercraft.
