Love It!!!!
My 2 1/2 year old watches Oswald all the time.The sandcastle contest is one of her favorite episodes.It has all the same great characters as the t.v. episode but the story is slightly different.It is still a fun story and she loves it.

Great book for toddlers....
My son is 3 & LOVES Oswald.This is a great sticker book (reusable stickers, like colorforms).It is a hardcover book with colorful pictures & a cute story.The story doesn't follow the cartoon "The Sand Castle Contest" episode like we thought, but its just as cute.I am bringing it to an upcoming family wedding for something to occupy my son, he loves colorforms so this should work nicely.Great buy!!!! ... Good tips for judokas; weak on ground tactics
I would recomend this book to anyone who plays judo either competitively or in a club setting.While the tips offered in this book are very helpful, I would suggest that you have a companion book that shows,step-by-step, the different judo "moves."If you don't you maybe confused. There is very little information on ground work (newaza) inthis book, so you'll have to find this elsewhere. ... Read more

some of the best
There are apparently many versions of this book written over the years.This book covers the thrills and excitement of seven of them, 1955 the year the Dodgers finally beat the Yankees in an exciting 7 game series, 1975 the year the big Red Machine fought off a great Boston ball club, 1985 the year Bret Saberhagen and the Kansas City Royals were about to beat the Cardinals, their Missouri rivals, 1986 the year the Mets outlasted the Red Sox thanks in part due to the Buckner error of Mookie Wilson's ground ball in game 6, 1991 the year Kirby Puckett and his Twins were able to subdue the Atlanta Braves a team whose dominance in the National League was just beginning and 1992 and 1993 the years when the Blue Jays were able to beat the Braves and then the Phillies to win their first two World Championships.Some recent ones like 2001 and 2003 were also exciting and close but they came well after this book was published.I do think that omitting the 1960 series was a big mistake.In my mind that was still one of the greatest even though it was the Pirates who won on Mazeroski's walkoff home run.

Brenner.One of thestories is on the 1975 World Series between the Cincinnati Reds and theBoston Red Sox.This is a series that few baseball fans will ever forget. After five gruelinggames the Reds had a 3-2 advantage going into Boston. In game six the Reds took an early leaad that lasted until the eigth whenBoston got a 3-run homer.Now the game was tied.The game went to the12th inning when Carlton Fisk hit the first pitch downt the left fieldline.If it was fair the Red Sox would wint the game and force a gameseven.As the ball went down the line, Fisk started to jump up and downand motioned the ball to go fair.Sure enough the ball stayed fair and theRed Sox forced a game seven. This book was very good.I would recomendthis book to any baseball fan.This book has stories of things that abaseball fan should know.The thing that I really enjoyed about this bookwas the way it was written.I was always at the end of my chair wonderingwho or what would happen next.Baseball is a very unpredictable game.Inthis book, you will find out how thrue that statement is. ...
