this book was great.Actually, it could have been a little better, but since it's the best book out there on oxy welding I gave it a 5.It has lots of step by step practice routines for welding near anything with oxy-acetylene, safety procedures, etc.I liked this book a lot.It could have been better with more pictures and diagrams (better closeups of proper beads, some diagrams of tip placement for each project, etc., I'm a very visual person), but overall it was ecellent.If you want to oxy fuel weld, start with this book! ... This is another book from Messler, the writer of Joining of Advanced Material. It encompasses most of the welding metallurgy of metals, chemistry of the weld pool (which is very rare in other welding books), andphysics of welding in detail.
