Plantea el principio de las cosas, como si hubiera asistido a ese momento fundacional, por el hecho de haber podido participar de esa instancia. Él es quien tiene las posibilidades reales y concretas de transmitir a los otros los pormenores de la imposición del ser en cada cosa. El Poeta participa de los comienzos del tiempo y prodiga el ser a las cosas que empiezan a ser a partir de la acción originante de su Palabra poéticamente dicha. "La poesía es la instauración del ser con la palabra." , confirma Heidegger. Sin embargo, ese axioma se puede completar con la acción del . En efecto: el decir . Y, por lo tanto, la realidad pasa a ser una experiencia superior, de la que todos participan. A partir de la Memoria, la Palabra del Poeta se inmerge en un todo abarcador, que le ofrece el acceso a una visión diferente y diferenciadora, a través de una forma particular del conocimiento. Eduardo Mallea se refiere al "conocimiento auroral" que alcanzan algunos escritores, entre los que menciona a Borges. Entonces, la pregunta es: ¿en qué consiste ese "conocimiento auroral"? Se trata de un conocimiento que forma parte del principio del Todo. Esta es la instancia en la que el Poeta apela a su Memoria como fuente primera del conocimiento, para transferirlo, así, a los otros. Por eso, el conocimiento poético es un conocimiento por participación.

Extractions: In some articles already published (A. de Toro 1990: 71-100; 1991: 441-468; 1992/ Borges' literary practice is characterized by a multi-layered signic organization which had profound consequences pertaining to the treatment of reality and fiction. The text is a product of reading, and it follows that writing is a permanent re-reading as is re-writing. This "re-writing" leads to the dissolution of the characters, of the narrator's identity, and to the constitution of two fundamental and ever present levels: the level of the textual object and the metatextual level. These are always found in playful tension which leads to the overcoming of the fiction as fiction. Borges' text performs its own "de-fictionalisation", that is, the narrated history is always unmasked as a "fabrication", or as metatextual. Thus we do not perceive any attempt to materialize it. Borges resorts to a series of textual techniques and philosophical theories, which much later, during the second half of the 20th century, were widely practised and well established by postmodern philosophy, and by literary theory (
