Extractions: Two of the biggest weaknesses of evolutionary theory are: There is no adequate explanation for the origin of life from dead chemicals. Even the simplest life form is tremendously complex. The fossil record , our only documentation of whether evolution actually occurred in the past, lacks any transitional forms, and all types appear fully-formed when first present. The evidence that "pre-men" (ape-men) existed is dubious at best. So called pre-man fossils turn out to be those of apes, extinct apes, fully man, or historical frauds. Extractions: Find: Movie Review DvD Movie Cds Free DvD The Movie Evolution is a modern comedy set in Arizona of all places, where a meteor has crashed into the desert near Lake Powell. With a star comedy lineup including Orlando Jones ("Double Take") and Seann William Scott ("Dude, Where's My Car?"), it was suprising to see Mulder of "The X-Files" (David Duchovny) playing the leading role. Even stranger, he has some of best lines in the film, and delivers them with a classic dry wit that places this performance as one of the better comedy films of the year. Perhaps we will begin to see more of Duchovny in comedy roles in the future. The acting in the film is suprisingly good from everybody, two-time Oscar® nominee Julianne Moore (The End of the Affair, Boogie Nights) even managing to pull off the correct impression of a clutzy scientist. Comedy from Seann is as always - he is becoming the next Jim Carrey of the comedy scene. The special effects in the movie are a blend of deliberate cutesy aliens that look as fake as something out of Ghostbusters, to incredibly lifelike prehistoric dinosaur creatures that wouldn't look out of place in the next Jurrasic Park. Overall, this film comes highly recommended, and if you see one comedy this season, make it Evolution.
