The album contains ten original tracks; with three tracks in Spanish. At 7 years old, she expressed the desire to broaden her training and soon added singing and acting lessons as well. She enrolled in a local musical theater class, where she learned how to prepare for auditions. At the same time, she made the Gifted and Talented class in her elementary school. She was always reminded that school was a priority and that if she wanted to continue to audition, she had to be sure that she would be able to juggle her school work and the demands of show biz . Soon she was performing at local theaters on Long Island in lead roles like ANNIE at Hofstra University. A tape of this performance was sent to Lois Miller, of Star Talent Management who soon signed her. Jamie was on her way! While in the 7th grade, she landed her first professional role as Young Mary/Janey in the musical version of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. This was to be a 29-state national tour and it would take 5 months of her school year. It was a very important family decision, since it not only involved Jamie being away at the age of 12, but also it would affect her school work. It turned out to be the most positive experience in her life. Not only did Jamie learn to do independent work, but also learned to use her time wisely and proceeded to read all of the required reading for the remainder of the year.
