Alfred was in the Army and was gone most of the time. His mother was having difficulties taking care of John and his 3 sisters, so he lived with his aunt and uncle for most of his early life. At age 5, Alfred came home and intended to take John with him to New Zealand, but after speaking to his mother, John chose to stay in Liverpool. John's mother gave him a second-hand guitar when he was a teenager. His Aunt Mimi had disapproved, saying "The guitar's all right, John, but you'll never make a living at it." He played every spare moment available. Around 1956, John met James Paul McCartney who later introduced him to George Harrison. John, Paul, and George, along with Pete Best the drummer, formed a band called the Silver Beatles. In 1958, outside aunt Mimi's house, John's mother was run over by an off-duty police officer, and subsequently died. The officer was suspected of drinking. plane crash. By 1961, the group was officially known as The Beatles and were becoming very popular at a local jazz club. Brian Epstein, the owner of a record shop, soon became their manager. He secured an audition with George Martin who recognized their potential, but insisted that the drummer be replaced. Although Martin wanted Andy White to be the replacement, he agreed to a drummer The Beatles preferred; Richard Starkey, A.K.A. Ringo Star.

Naturally, it may seem a bit absurd in fact it may seem a lot absurd but there is more evidence than you probably realize, supporting that dinosaurs may not have been alone on the earth during the Mesozoic era over 250 million years ago. The evidence is there, but if it is credible enough to believe. well, that is for you to decide. Also found in the tombs in Peru by the same man, Dr. Javier Cabrera, were several textiles (which appeared to look somewhat like burial blankets or tapestries) of the ancient Nasca culture. They too had graphic designs of what is thought to be dinosaurs: the teeth, claws, long snout, and tail served as lucid hints. The textiles were draped over ancient coffins, perhaps implying that the deceased lost his life to the rambunctious reptiles. And if the stone carvings and textiles are not convincing enough, Dr. Cabrera found one final artifact: pottery. The pottery, although much less blatant, is also adorned in what appears to be dinosaur-inspired designs. The pottery factually dates to over a thousand years, making it the only artifact scientists find worth pursuing.

Born at Oxford Street Maternity Hospital in Liverpool, John Winston Lennon came into the world on the quietest of nights for the small town. Before John's birth Liverpool was subject to bombings by the Luftwaffe on their nearby seaports. However, even outside forces wouldn't have kept this musical genius from becoming one of the most memorable and loved singer/songwriters known to this century. And this would prove true through his entire lifetime. John, born to Alfred and Julia Lennon, lived an interesting childhood. His mother, Julia, enjoyed being by herself and going out, so the thought of a child was more of a burden then a blessing. John's father, Alfred, was a seamen and was usually out at sea and rarely home. Instead of being cared for by his parents, he was reared by his aunt, Mary 'Mimi' Smith and uncle George. Though he lived with his aunt and uncle, his mother and father did play a part in his life. John spent time with both his mother and his father, and on one occasion in 1946 Alfred took John on a holiday to Blackpool, where Alfred made plans to emigrate to New Zealand with his son. Julia intervened and took her son back to the care of his aunt in Liverpool.

Gegen Ende der steilen Karriere wurden Lennon zur schillernden Figur des Liverpooler Quartetts, setzte sich mit seiner zweiten Frau Yoko Ono, einer japanischen Künstlerin, in der Öffentlichkeit für alternative Lebensformen ein und versuchte seine Rolle als Musiker der Beatles abzulegen, um als Mensch und Künstler anerkannt zu werden. Im September 1971 verließ er mit seiner Frau England und zog mit ihr nach New York. Musikalisch ging Lennon eigene Wege mit seiner Band "Plastic Ono Band", die er nur hin und wieder zu Aufnahmen oder Auftritten zusammenholte. Am 8. Dezember 1980 musste die Symbolfigur der Beat-Generation einen hohen Preis für ihren Erfolg zahlen: John Lennon wurde nach Plattenaufnahmen in New York von einem gewissen David Chapman erschossen.
