5-0 out of 5 stars rosemarie-registrar at hospital and more importantly mom and wife
I have read all of Neale's books and now want them on Cd so I can listen to the god/goddess voices that are perfect and sound just as I imagine god/goddess to sound.I purchased book 1 on cd and now plan on getting the collection for my car trips to remind me of my truth and that I am never alone. These books have changed my life as well as my husbands.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Awesome, Inspiring! Highly Recommendable To ALL!
This book is GREAT. In fact, the entire collection of CWG books are among the BEST ever written. The deep wisdom shared in these books coincide completely with the unspoken truth that has resided within my heart for as long as I can remember. As I read these words, my heart recognized the profound truth spoken in these books. Reading these books have caused my entire perspective of all of life to shift in an amazing way. I recommend the CWG books to all. Especially for those who are ready to remember the highest truths, see the light beyond the deceptions & false teachings of many organized religions & of our misinformed society & find the true MEANING in life -- The true meaning of "God".

5-0 out of 5 stars A new theology and a very new, and better, ethical system
Although I am not inclined to believe in any supernatural realm, I read the three books in this series, in order. There is no doubt in my mind that the author is a very original thinker. If I were ever to believe in something supernatural, this would be it. However, the ethical sytem the author (or God, it doesn't matter) put forward is, to my knowledge, very new and very different from everything I knew. It is not easy reading; you need a very open mind to accept concepts such as "there is no right or wrong" or "God is not a vengeful god that punishes with eternal torments" I had to read several chapters more than once, and I can say this. Whether you go along with everything in the theology or not, I for one fully embraced the ethical system. It is to my thinking much more advanced, more "human", and likely to lead to much more happiness than anything I knew previously. Our world would be an immensely better place if this were the prevalent ethics. I read that the book has been translated to 26 languages and has touched the lives of millions all over the world. It sure touched mine! I strongly recommend that you challenge yourself to read the three books, and not reject anything off hand. Read the paragraphs you feel to be more "shocking" more than once and give the subject a lot of thought. After the third book, you will have found many concepts revisited more than once, and the whole picture will impress you as very consistent and well rounded. You might feel that not only you acquired new and important concepts, but also that your whole world outlook was changed. In short, your life may have been touched too. ... Read more

Best of the Best. At a low point in life, Walsch wrote God a letter venting his frustrations. After he finished, he continued writing and got answers. In this audiobook, the author reads his questions, and two noted actors contribute spirited performances as the voice of God. Unabridged. 8 CDs.

1-0 out of 5 stars Conversations with a Hindu god
THIS BOOK IS NOT CHRISTIAN...Please note, this is NOT written from any Christian viewpoint vaguely whatsoever.

Don't jump on the bandwagon and let the title make a fool of you. Please note that the "God" here is used ridiculously loosely. Neale Donald Walsch's panentheistic new-agey god is not anything like the God of the Bible. But he is very reminiscent of a warm-fuzzy-like Hinduistic Shiva that talks like Mr. Rogers, and is more permissive than grandparents-from-hell. If you want to hear about just another despondent guy lost in America's spiritually desolate landscape of post-modern society--this IS exactly what you've been looking for! (Thank...god...whatever.) The title is very misleading. "Conversations with God" is not so much as "conversations" as perhaps one plagiarist's pedantic "excuses".

If you're looking for spiritually inspiring media, definitely keep on looking.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for a commuter
This is a great audio book for someone who spends a lot of time in the car. It's a very interesting story and well-presented as an audio book.

1-0 out of 5 stars This Is Not The Real God
This might tickle the ear of most people, which is why a lot of people eat this up and hail this as divine. But let me ask you, you want to believe in a god that places a mass murderer like Hitler in heaven.A god that supports you and wants you to be whatever you want to be.Ok, I want to be a rapist, murderer, arsonist and this god will support me in my decision because what I want, this god wants. This god mixes Biblical truth with lies, this sounds like the devil to me.He's the god of this world, but not God, the Creator. If you want to know the real God, read the Holy Bible, not listen to this drivel.I picked this up because I thought this guy really talked to God, but after listening to this, I believe this guy either spoke to a demonic being, has quite an imagination, or dropping acid. This god, even states that most of us listening, or reading, will call a lot of this blasphemy, that's is probably the most truthful thing about this material.Beware of false prophets, and this guy is one of them. He also says that there is no devil or hell, let me tell you, the biggest weapon the devil has is to make us believe he is not real.Making us believe the devil isn't real is emphasized a lot in this material. This should only be taken as entertainment only, not to be taken as the truth. You want to know God, pray to Jesus Christ, and read His holy word. One more thing, the male/female voice of god will get on your nerves after a while. Can't this god make up his/her mind of what gender to be.Plus the quality of the sound isn't very good. It's muffled at times. Also the volume sounds loud at first, but after a while, the volume goes down low. This isn't digitally mastered as stated on the front box cover.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gets You Thinking
This book helped me rediscover my love for God and life itself. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to restructure his or her beliefs in a postive, healthy, and loving way.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Cool
I first read the book a few years ago - so being able to listen to the cd is one aha moment after another.

I rarely read the same book twice, so this gives me an opportunity to review everything without having to re-read anything! Plus when they talk to each other it feels like they're sitting right here - next to my bed!

(Maybe they are) :) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wisdom without pretense, pontification, or platitudes
Patrice has written the perfect little pick me up for when the mind seems tobe needlessly cluttered with useless details and unimportant information. "God Made Easy" simply and elegantly clears the mental palette and refocuses one's attention on what really matters .Anytime you feel like you don't have time to read, just hold "God Made Easy" in your hands and let it remind you of what you already know... reconnecting to Spiritual intimacy is as uncomplicated as breathing.

2-0 out of 5 stars Smoke
I don't think I would purchase a used book again.
Unless it specified that it was coming from a smoke free
environment. This book was in good condition, but it
reeked of cigarette smoke. We actually had to dispose
of it because of the smell.

5-0 out of 5 stars What a Powerful Little Book!
In this fast paced, hectic world there is little time to reflect and remember the important things.Ms. Karst has given us a brief butprofound reminder to believe and feel at peace. It doesn't matter who orwhat you call It, God can be a strenghtening force in all of our lives. This book is a "keeper" and makes a great gift for any age. It'sinspiring and delightful.

5-0 out of 5 stars "God Made Easy" is a compassionate gem to be savored.
"God Made Easy" is a loving, compassionate gem of a book. Its timeless wisdom is set in a format accessible to all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, and spiritual beliefs. I cried tears of "someone reallygets it and doesn't need to say it in 200 pretentious pages or more!"when I first read this little masterpiece. It now occupies a treasuredplace in my heart and on my bookshelf. I highly recommend it it anyone inspiritual pain--people in recovery from all manner of issues, folks lost inthe "dark night of the soul", the sick and the world-weary,people facing death issues--you name it. This is a BIG book. I hope thatthe publishing industry has picked up on this and provided substantialmarketing and advertising for this jewel, which in its rich simplicity faroutstrips anything Neal Donald Walsh has ever said.

2-0 out of 5 stars Targeted for women that don't believe there is a god.
This book was a disapointment for me.Being a man, I could not relate to some of the things that she says. Also, the author trys to convince the reader to believe in a god, but I already believe there is a god.I didnot like this book, but I will recomend this book to any woman that isunsure if she should believe in a god. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Enchanting!
This is the third book of the series and it is the most sensitive and powerful!Poems celebrating womanhood and femininity, stories full of strength and emotions...

I read this book before and I just finished it again.. so overwhelming with different experience in every page .. the boundless limits of a woman's endurance .. the feeling of satisfaction that gratifies a female giving her pride and strength..

This is a book that you can read over and over.. a poem one day ..a short story on another.. enjoy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Joy, Tears and Combustion
This book flows with wisdom about the stages of a woman's life. There is arm pumping joy, tears of compassion and sadness and the affirmation of the person within over the external skin.

"..if by wearing silk, my value mounts
what happens when I'm bare?"

There are pieces that apply to whatever stage of life a woman is passing through. There are pieces that bring the smiles of remembering past stages. There are pieces that point to possible routes for the journeys to come.

Read and enjoy this passage from "Combustion"
"When I have a hot flash....I watch, astounded, as an invisible hand tosses water on the stones of my body, and I ignite. How can flesh not melt? Then, of necessity, I give up the watch and close my eyes and float on the water, and then the fire expends itself, and I pick up my little fan and create a breeze something like the ones that frequsent northern lakes at night. Then I just sit in the quiet puddle of my flesh. If it is the middle of the night I sleep the good sleep of a person cleansed."

5-0 out of 5 stars A Book for Real Women
This book should have an entire galaxy of stars! The poetry, photographs, and stories are all by and of real women.Thank God there are no movie stars in this awesome, down-to-earth book.If you love becoming a wise, older woman, then you must have this book.It affirms our womanhood as no other book I've ever read.

4-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful anthology
The poems, short stories, and particularly the photos in this book are so touching. I encourage women who are interested in self-discovery to read this book, because the passages inspired me to reflect on myself, my life, and my relationships with those I love. This is a good book for any woman who is going through changes in her life. (It would be a good graduation gift, a good gift for a woman getting married or having a baby, and a wonderful birthday present.) The book celebrates strong women, fragile women, mothers, daughters, growing up, growing old, just growing. I really enjoyed reading it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Instantly Hooked!
A friend of mine frequently quotes Jenny Joseph's "Warning".In searching for this for her birthday, I was instantly hooked on the poems and stories in this book and "When I Am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple". I will be giving these and recommending these to others! ... Read more

"Conversations with God" took its readers on an inspirational journey, teaching them how to conduct a dialogue with God and reach a better understanding of themselves, others and the world we all inhabit. In Neale Donald Walsch's latest book, they will travel further on this journey towards a greater relationship, and ultimately friendship, with God.Amazon.com Review
Neale Donald Walsch grew up fearing God, especially after hismother, a neighborhood mystic, was caught reading cards for afriend. His mother was "trafficking with the devil," according toWalsch's deeply religious aunt, and as a result, "God will send herstraight to hell."

That was the start of a relationship born of"fearship," as Walsch calls it. In Friendship with God, Walshspeaks to the struggles he's had learning to see God as a true friendrather than a punishing judge. Like his immensely popularConversations with God series, Friendship with God iswritten mostly in dialogue format, modeling how anyone can conversewith God. What makes the book especially accessible is Walsh's humblevoice that gently addresses most people's confusion and doubts. Forexample, Walsh talks about feeling squeamish that God knows theshameful secrets of his life. In response, God points out that Walshhas shared his dark secrets with friends and lovers. So why not sharethese truths with God, who has never judged or punished him, and neverwill? 5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing....simply amazing
Hello friends-

I am a college studnet. All my life I have been a Christian. For several years I have wandered without knowing who I am. The last years couple of years in my life have been very tough for me.

you see....I have Aspergers Syndrome.

I just finished typing a paper on (AS) for my senior project in college (I'll be graduating next month). I really don't know what to say......

As I was typing the paper, I fiddled around with the idea that maybe I could add pieces of info that Neale had in his book......

I just want to come out and say it.......
THIS BOOK IS BRILLIANT. ITS REVOLUTIONARY. ITS CONTROVERSIAL. Think of any adjective you could use to describe this book (actually, I'm talking about ALL the CWG books).WOW.......my heart is just filled with so much joy right now you can't even imagine.

Living with (AS) is very difficult. Throughout my life I have always gone to counselors, read self-help books, and tried to do everything that I could to "try and be normal". I can honestly say that I found the answer to everything I was looking for. Every person who is like myself should consider reading all the CWG books Mr. Walsch has written. I can honestly say that my confidence level right now is at a level it has never been in all my life.

Many will call what I am doing blasphemy. They will say I'm a fool. They will say that I'm crazy. They will say,"...people like you especially need to read the Bible and follow God's word". You know what,.....I can't go that way anymore. I read Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life last year. I tried reading it critically, and I tried studying it because it supposedly touched the lives of millions.

For me,....it did not do any such thing. After I finished reading book 1, an eerie feeling came onto me. It was almost as if God was saying, "You've finally found me."

I don't know about you, but I am EXCITED BEYOND PURPORTIONS. This is what life is all about!!! Geez,....even "I" understand the message.....WE ARE ALL ONE. Personally, a year ago I tried reading the Bible, but found myself just frustrated trying to understand what the book meant. Amazingly, the bible makes SO much sense to me now.

Isn't life Amazing?! Doesn't it feel good to be LIBERATED?! Doesn't it feel good to know that you ARE a somebody. Doesn't it feel great to know that God is ALWAYS right by your side?! Friends, doesn't it feel great to know that every single instant of our everchanging lives always has a reason to it!? I used to hate people who were "liberal", but now it is clear that some of the greatest human beings in the world are those who are "free-spirits".

Neale Donald Walsch is an amazing man! What happened to him is something that can happen to anyone who is willing to have an open mind. Some of the greatest minds in the world all thought differently. And I would encourage anyone, and everyone to embark on this wonderful, life changing journey. It doesn't matter who you are. The question is this: Are you willing to open a new door? I was, and I can honestly say it has completely done a 360 in my life.

Are you willing to challenge your faith? If you say yes, it will likely be very difficult at first, but in the long run, it will be the greatest thing you will have ever done.

I enjoy reading books, but after reading these books, every book out there seems trivial at best. To the person right now who is struggling with their life(if you happen to be reading this comment), maybe reading this is a sign from God. Maybe it's a sign that could point to greater things!!

GOD IS GREAT!!!!

Product Description
Six years ago, Neale Donald Walsch began a conversation - forging his own unique relationship with God - and the result was "Conversations with God" book 1, which has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. In that inspirational series, Neale Donald Walsch showed that it is up to us to begin our own conversation. The next stage, as he explained in "Friendship with God", is to take this relationship one step further. Now, with the final book in this incredible series, we learn how to take the ultimate step towards communion with god.Amazon.com Review
Bestselling author Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations with God) moves beyond showing readers how to develop a friendship with God and instead offers a model for communion. Rather than using the dialog format, where Walsch shares personal conversations he has with God, he chose to write through the narrative voice of God--as if God were speaking directly to the reader. "I tell you this: You need nothing to survive," says God. "Your survival is guaranteed. I gave you everlasting life, and I never took it away from you." This format can feel a bit jarring, as if this was an attempt at channeling rather than Walsch's usual humble style of dialogue. Using a structure of top-10 illusions, Walsch has God speaking to illusions such as need, judgment, and superiority. At times God sounds scolding: "For I tell you this: Your idea of superiority could be the last mistake you ever make." Yet, the bottom-line message is that of unconditional love and the exhilarating promise of communion--a gift that is lavishly offered throughout the final chapters. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very simplified philosophy
I've studied theology in college and in the real world.I was raised Catholic and believe that all religions are mainly culture based brainwashes. This book is spiritual and non-religious, somehow it "made sense" and brought me comfort.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Synopsis
I have read almost all of the books in the Conversation With God series, all of which carry profound messages that may or may not be directly from God.All, however, make very good sense. This book is a good synopsis of many of those messages and puts them in a different way from the other books.I would consider this one of the best of the series. If you have or have not read any of this series of books, this one should be your next one.

5-0 out of 5 stars COMMUNION W/ GOD

I would recommend this book for anyone seeking answers to their questions of who they are and why.

5-0 out of 5 stars great insides for the searching souls.
this book will help the open minder individuals answer those questions that we just don't have the courage to ask anyone, when one is searching for the truth and for me the truth is know thy self in order to trustyou and others, this book has been a great help.!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Revelation of Biblical Proportions
I found this tattered, tiny white tome in a used book store about 3 years ago I would guess. It took about three paragraphs and I found myself firmly, permanently, joyously entrenched in spiritual inquiry and advancement.I've read this book 4 or 5 times now (and have read all of Neale Donald Walsch's books as well) and it never gets old or dated in any way.The beauty (well actually, there are many beauties) of these books are that you don't have to give up being a Christian, Jew, Muslim, or any other religion if you're comfortable in that mode - yet these books have the power to instill greater depth and clarity to one's own particular viewpoint; if you let it!!Even though I personally don't follow any secular or popular dogma, I find these writings very compelling, uplifting, comforting, educational and most importantly - spiritual.Humankind could easily be healed by the CwG series of books, but only if they are read with an open mind and heart.5 stars easy....... ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Thoughtful considerations on 'life' after death.
As probably the only species on this planet who actually knows we have to die one day, that we and the world we know one day will disappear, it seems that thoughts about death have occupied the human mind for aeons.

In recent years on one hand old beliefs in 'Heaven and Hell' has dwindled, and on the other some startling new evidence has appeared for life after death, in the form of near-death experiences and experiences from meditation, hypnosis and psychedelics.

This well-produced books is a fascinating collection of interviews with spiritual people who has thought deeply over the matter. Here is Dalai Lama, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Stanislav Grof, Ram Dass, Stephen Levine, Kenneth Ring, Anya Foos-Garber a.m.o.. Insightfull people from different spiritual traditions, and certainly not agreeing with each other, which make for a stimulating and challenging read.

But they all agree that it is actually highly improbably that death is the kind of final end that materialistic science predicts.

Not that 'you' and 'I' will continue after the body's decay, but that the spirit/soul/consciousness in some form will. And perhaps from the highest perspective both Life and Death are illusory phenomenon seen from Eternity.

1-0 out of 5 stars Why do the most of reviews of this book appear to be written by the same person?
If one scans these reviews, with one exception, there is a similarity in tone and style to each review. All of these are written by "A reader".A number of them refer to other writers words.

5-0 out of 5 stars Rosen's Book Takes the Reader on an Extraordinary Adventure

Through first-hand accounts in personal interviews, Eliot Jay Rosen reveals intimate detailsof many individuals' experiences of the soul. The human race has reached a Time of Choosing. Our options are being placed before us by the tide of events -- and by those who are creating them. We can either move forward, building together at last a new world of peace and harmony based on new beliefs about God and Life, or move backward, separately and continuously reconstructing the old world of conflict and discord.

The New Revelations provides us with the tools to move forward, to pull ourselves out of despair, lifting the whole human race to a new expression of its grandest vision. Neale Donald Walsch urges us to open our hearts and our minds to what may be one of the most important spiritual statements of oour time. A conversation with God that begun as a simple plea from one human being to the God of his understanding, The New Revelations is a life-altering audiobok, given to us when we need it most. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars This was written AFTER Books I-III so why does he still act like a Fool?
I really LOVE Books I-III (Communion With God was "ok" but the 3rd Illusion was the first). This book "New Revelations" written AFTER those books made me lose faith in the Neale Donald Walsch.
He starts off "talking" to God and saying we have life principles written in God's word and God's command, then God says the Bible and others have it wrong and Neale is "Oh really? Why is that God? Can you shred some light on this for me?"
I mean SERIOUSLY.....Neale is beyond believing that the 10 Commandments are God's laws and mut be followed and that the Bible is absolute authority and accurate! so why does Neale "play" a Moron in this Book? Some may say "well he's playing Devil's advocate" or playing the role of what some believe.
Well #1 Are you serious?? Neale is Talking to God and is acting like a complete Moron?? Get real! If you're talking to God to give New Revelations to bring to humanity, anyone is going to be serious and not fooling around and acting like he is still a child in his past spiritual beliefs, I mean come on!
and #2 This is the "New Revelations" were past baby hood, anyone who picks up this book already read his previous books, and if they hadn't, they need to.

I heard MANY interviews Neale has given through the years and lectures and Neale is a very intelligent man, I'd say he's almost genius if not. Neale has spoken before about his seeking of the truth for years, he knows these world's religions and the flaws in them, he is a very very intelligent man.
Yet in this book as he speaks with God, Neale takes on a intelligence level of a complete baboon moron.
I'm really convinced this book is almost done as a joke. It offers nothing new and comes from an author who knows better.
Neale would have had a immortal legacy if he just published the THREE books as he said in the beginning that where is no more, but who knows, money, fame, whatever the reason, Neale continued to put out sub-par books and I really feel this one came from Neale and nothing at all from God....just my opinion and my review.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not a better way, merely another way!
Having gone back to my roots as it were, with the Conversation with God catalogue of work, specifically in this instance "The New Revelations," I am reminded of the indelible mark these works have left on my mind, heart and soul."Revelations" is a work completely devoid of self serving interests and sated with Self serving interests; that is: if it hurts you, it hurts me.The crux upon which this marvelous book revolves around is the holy trinity of what should be typical contemporary thinking: functionality, adaptability and sustainability.Clearly, clearly, clearly what the human species has evolved as part and parcel of its collective spiritual and thus behavioral repertoire' DOES NOT WORK!As the book states, it is not a matter of right or wrong, but rather what works and what doesn't work.

There are five steps to peace and nine New Revelations delineated in this work (none of which I'm going to tell you about here - read the book!!!) that are of such elegant, radiant and liberating quality and yet pregnant with common sense that I must admit, I'm a bit chagrined at the fact that we haven't figured this out before. Many Masters from Buddha to Jesus to Sri Yogananda have tried to impart this very same wisdom to us, but we did not have ears to hear. The thoughts of: separation (from God and, well, everything) and an angry, intolerant, vengeful, capricious, tormenting God, the idea of insufficiency and the plethora of God's needs that we have to fulfill; have put us on the kamikaze course we have been on for millennia.Isn't it about time we changed the beliefs that lead to our thoughts that in turn, causes us to behave like psychopaths??5 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
The book clearly details many critical points regarding guidelines, suggestions, and warnings about the future of Earth. There are no "Commandment" or "Doom Scenario" types of tactics designed to scare us into submission. It is actually very positive, ultimately, inasmuch as what is revealed is that we, the human race, still have the choice to bring the planet into a wonderful, new era of cooperation and prosperity for all. It's not too late; in fact, the best is yet to come, if we chose it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The New Revelations
I found this book to bring new insight into an ancient subject. It is well written and thought provoking. I highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars truth at it's best
Neal hits the nail on the head again. Disspells religions teachings of a punishing God. If you created something in your own image why would you punish yourself for doing it. Unfortunately we put ourselves through our own hell by not trusting that which created us. Uncondional lovemeans just that, not do my way or else. Great material. I would recommend the reading of this book to all religious fanatics. ... Read more

InspirationalLarge Print Edition* A New York Times BestsellerSuppose you could ask God the most puzzling questions about existence, and God would provide clear, understandable answers? It happened to Neale Donald Walsch. Conversations with God is Neale Donald Walschs account of his direct conversations with God, beginning in 1992 while Walsch was immersed in a period of deep depression. He composed a letter to God in which he vented his frustrations, and much to his surpriseeven shockGod answered him.Amazon.com Review
In keeping with the first two books in this trilogy,Conversations With God, Book 3 continues to clarify the muddywaters of our spiritual existence, but moves from individual andglobal issues to "universal truths," which apply to all levels ofexistence from the microscopic to the macrocosmic. It is difficult tocriticize God, but if he is as pleasant as he presents himself inWalsch's books, then he won't mind the paltry mention of a structuralproblem. A hefty portion of Conversations With God, Book 3backtracks to topics that were well covered in Book 1, and while acertain amount of recap is good to build on, Walsch's repeated returnto these earlier conversations gets a bit frustrating for the readerwho is familiar with the earlier books. Minor blemishes aside,Conversations With God, Book 3 explores some of the mostfantastic subjects that people are prone to ponder under starryevening skies: What happens when we die? What is time? Are we alone inthe universe? Walsch's dialogue with the creator puts these and otherimponderables into comprehendible terms. If these revelations aretrue, and it is ultimately up to us to know them as truths or not, then the universe is a very intriguing place, and we haven't comeclose to realizing our potential in understanding it. However, thegreat thing Conversations With God, Book 3 makes clear is thatwe can understand the universe if we so choose.--BrianPatterson ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars An Illogical "God"
The god of this book is full of contradictions. For example, "god" says "there is no such thing as wrong" and later says it is "wrong" for parents to raise their own children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Embracing the Universe
Given the world in which we live and the stories we have told ourselves endlessly about this world, it is hardly surprising that some people have found it so challenging to embrace and implement the messages found in the Book 3 of the Conversations with God series. As you read this book you may find that life as we are living it is counter to all of our best intentions. Life truly ebbs and flows, thus the tide of events may sometimes seem to run counter to the way we deeply want to believe that Ultimate Reality is, so this book gives us clues as to how to change our world "for the better".
Today, the horror stories we have convinced ourselves about love do not ring true in our heart and what we have told ourselves about the God of our fathers feels deeply uncomfortable in our soul.
This book touches all the hot button issues of our day, including abortion, assisted suicide, auras, chakras, death, dis-ease, fear, heaven, hell, love, sex, souls and Who We Really Are and who we dream of becoming.
Reading this book will give you an opportunity to think again and possibly make some new decisions and create new realities as you learn more, in Conversations With God: An Uncommon Dialog, Vol. 3, about Donald Neale Walsch's dream of a New Spirituality.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing!
I can't say enough about how much I loved all of the books (volumes) in this series! They really opened my eyes and made me feel as if God truly is our best friend...these are a must read!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent service
Book arrived in exactly the condition it was promised and on time. Will certainly buy from this seller again

5-0 out of 5 stars We all can communicate with God!
I simply loved this book.Neale Donald Walsh's natural conversations with God diminishes the distance between us and God.This book answered many questions and reinforced many truths that I had and helped me transition into a co-creator with God.

We all can communicate with God and spirit and I commend Neale for really going out into the public and speaking his truth and risking what people would think about him.He has helped all of us by opening a door for everyone to have their own direct communication with God.

Neale's books made it much easier for me to be able to say I am a channel of God.In truth we all are.

Thanks Neale.

4-0 out of 5 stars The seed of the Nazis
While reading this, the reader must take into account the rewriting of history done by Plavatsky in this work.Taking ancient writings and transforming them into her beliefs based on nothing more than what she wanted the writings to say is nothing more than fictionalizing the past. These writings were the seed of the Aryan movement and the future Nazi beliefs in the Aryan superhuman. Those admiring these writings have much soul-searching to do as it would make a person wonder if they too have the same mindsets that nearly destroyed civilization.

I give this four stars only in showing that such writings do have a place in understanding history and the outcomes that one person may have on the future.Let no one ever again write a work that creates the evil of this work.

2-0 out of 5 stars HPB = HSC. or. . . "a chamberlain by any other name"
I beleive these books (the first three volumes and isis unveiled as well) to have been "ghost" written by Huston Stuart Chamberlain when he was in his twenties, he must have known Helena Petrovna on his presumably extensive travels, took a liking to her manner and the rest is history, they are not really a work of evil genius or medium channeling as many christians and conspiracy scholars I have read claim. . . They come off to me as rather preachy , lots of occultic tid bits and re-hashed ghost stories, a sort of almanac for young occultists or silly women lead astray , just like evangelical christian women and suffragettes of the 19th century, idol white mischief. I beleive Huston would have enjoyed toying with such women, silly old do-gooder types christian or occultist. ( I wonder if Annie Besant knew Huston wrote these volumes when she wrote the intros to them?)I have very good reason for believing he authored the infamous "Protocols of Zion" as well. He wrote many books as a ghost writer. I was looking on a web site dedicated to HSC and noticed on the timeline of his life section that 1877 the year Isis unveiled was published that there was a trip to England to see his family, and the year Secret Doctrine was published that was a missing year, the years these books of Madame Blavatsky were published!. I dont think he was working for the Nazis or that he was a friend of germany at all. Like the apostle paul becoming a gentile he became more german than german to kill the germans, he became an occultist to British Isreal-ize occultism. This for what its worth is a quote taken from the website devoted to him "("I am no writer. I am a man who has been driven by his destiny to be able to work only with the pen -- and who now has used the pen, as best he can, to create CERTAIN EFFECTS IN CERTAIN PEOPLE".)and he sure did if my hypothosis stands up to the light of objective scrutiny!

He uses certain key phrases and "clews" thru-out his ghostwritten books a signature to say its me for those that can see. I can picture this man thinking to himself. . ."I'll write my philosophy of histories in german and my social psychology and sociology in french", thinking 'what an ever so smart fellow I am', working for his Brith-ish miry clay freemason master Montague Norman, just like a good Chamberlain does. These books were designed to bring esoteric or occultic revivalism of that era into harmony with British Israelism and its geopolitics on the continent and so were JRR Tolkien books. They say HSC inspired Adolph hitler, Madame B also inspired Hitler, so they say. . . oddly enough so did Gustave Le Bon's book "the Crowd" ( I will try and write a review that compares The Crowd with the protocols of zion in Plutarch's lives style at a later date), please see my old review on the protocols of zion.

2-0 out of 5 stars Too Much Anti Christian Rhetoric For Me
This book is worth reading I guess if you're into philosophy and related subjects.

I was hoping it was about someone's psychic visions of what Atlantis was really like and things like that.Rather it's a synthesis of Blavatsky's knowledge about non Christian religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism. At least that's what I think it's based on but I could be wrong.

It talks about what happened to start the universe and mentions very long time periods such as the '7 eternities' which is over 113 trillion years.Could such a long period of time really exist ?Who knows.

What she said matches up with current scientific theories about how animals evolved from simple organisms into amphibians, then vertebrates, etc..

It mentions the idea of the different root races with Atlantis being the fourth. We are part of the fifth, Aryan root race.Perhaps the impending new age which begins on 12/21/12 will mark the beginning of the sixth root race.

This is one of those books that has an undercurrent of mistrust for Christianity. She makes statements about how some of the first popes conspired to confuse the world, how Christianity stole ideas from mythology, etc..

For example it was Christ who revealed the idea of the Holy Trinity which is one of the cornerstones of Christian philosophy.Blavatsky doesn't like this simple explanation for a great mystery.Rather she offers one of her convoluted metaphysical explanations about what the Trinity really means.

This is a good example of how this book tends to de-personalize God.It views God more as some sort of unseen force which I guess is true in a way.But this is only one aspect of God.

Jesus Christ didn't preach to physicists and intellectuals. It was Christ's ability to explain great truths in terms that simple people could understand that makes Him the greatest philosopher of all time.

This books quotes from the Gnostic gospels which claim to contain statements that Christ made but I don't believe this. Many people today reject the bible in favor of a bunch of scraps of old documents that were buried in the desert by God knows who.

Blavatsky also states that hell does not exist. This is another direct contradiction not only to Christianity but also Tibetan Buddhism.

I will add however that there are deep and mystical relationships between mythology, Christianity, and the bible.Anyone who doesn't believe or accept this doesn't really understand the bible. And many don't.

This book is a condensed version of a much larger collection of Blavatsky's writings.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Secret Doctrine is No Secret
This is a wonderfully thought-provoking book, but it is VERY DIFFICULT TO READ.Having a master's degree in theological studies, it still took me 6 months to get through each book and I was really pushing.I do not wish to discourage potential readers, but only want to be realistic. If anyone is looking to understand the basic ideas in The Secret Doctrine I would strongly suggest Goodricke-Clark's work entitled Madame Blavatsky. A little easier to read it groups particular sections of Blavatky's writings by topic (that is one of the downfall's of The Secret Doctrine-the arrangement of random material throughout).
I would certainly agree that this work is Blavatsky's crowning achievement, but not because it is"original."Rather, it is the way Blavatsky takes various western esoteric concepts and syncretises them into one work that is most ingenious. She takes the prevalent ideas in western esotericism (root races, planetary evolution, and phalic/solar origin of religion- for anyone looking for a historical background on these subjects I would suggest The Theosophical Enlightenment by Joscelyn Godwin) and merges them with Asian religious practices and terminiology in an attempt to defend religion against the growing threat of materialism. What comes out is a lengthy, unorganzied treatise on western esoteric concepts that is brilliant as a redactionary work.

4-0 out of 5 stars Foundation of Western New Thought
First, this is not an easy book to read, but it's importance in the study of metaphysics makes it well worth the effort. I am a practicing metaphysican and have been a student of metaphysics, theosphy and comparative religions for over 20 years and am just beginning to realize the truth contained in this and others of H.P.Blavatsky's books.

This book is on my recommended list the serious student of metaphysics and esoteric knowledge. It has been an integral part of the foundation of the Western new age/new thought movements. ... Read more

Product Description
Now recognized as one of the most influential books of the twentieth century, "Silent Spring" exposed the destruction of wildlife through the widespread use of pesticides. Despite condemnation in the press and heavy-handed attempts by the chemical industry to ban the book, Rachel Carson succeeded in creating a new public awareness of the environment which led to changes in government and inspired the ecological movement.Amazon.com Review
Silent Spring, released in 1962, offered the first shatteringlook at widespread ecological degradation and touched off an environmentalawareness that still exists. Rachel Carson's book focused on the poisons frominsecticides, weed killers, and other common products as well as the use ofsprays in agriculture, a practice that led to dangerous chemicals to thefood source. Carson argued that those chemicals were more dangerous thanradiation and that for the first time in history, humans were exposed tochemicals that stayed in their systems from birth to death. Presented withthorough documentation, the book opened more than a few eyes about thedangers of the modern world and stands today as a landmark work. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Silent Spring - a life changer
There's a reason this book started the environmental movement.Read it and pay attention to what it says, it might just change how you look at the real impact you have on the world around you.No hippie B.S. just real undeniable science.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pathbreaking
Rachel Carson's expose of the broad, deep, complex, hidden, irreversible and unconsidered effects of man-made chemicals was earth shaking in its day.She exhibited great courage in challenging the commercial and political interests who benefited from the public policy status quo.Her writing is smooth and informed. Her argument could truly be understood by John Q. Public. She carefully and accurately explained scientific concepts and findings that were new to most people. She is rightly hailed as a founder of the environmental movement and those positive steps that have been taken to protect the environment, inform public debate and raise substantive question's about man's role in modifying nature.

On the other hand, her book overstates its case, demonizes opponents and discredits other more balanced approaches to public policy positions. On balance, I am thankful for her writing this book at a time when environmental issues were not on the radar screen. The basic improvements made since that time depended upon the awareness she generated. The real disappointment is with our lack of progress as a nation and a world in evaluating environmental issues such as global warming. We generate much more heat than light.

Product Description
When Neale Donald Walsch was experiencing a low point in his life, he decided to write a letter to God. What he did not expect was a response and the result was "Conversations with God Book 1". In Book 2, the dialogue expands to deal with the more global topics of geopolitical and metaphysical life on the planet, and the challenges now facing the world. This incredible series contains answers that will change you, your life, and the way you view other beings.Amazon.com Review
In Conversations with God: Book II, Neale Walsch andGod resume their discussion and move on to larger topics than thepersonal issues addressed in their previous dialogue in Volume 1. For an"unedited transcript" of a conversation, Book II is remarkablywell organized and articulate, as if Walsch anticipatd our "but whatabout" questions before we asked them. The peculiar pair discuss time, space, politics, and even kinky sex, but Conversations with God:Book II isn't here for just shock value. It is an honest look atsome of the broad issues important to all of us on the planet, and asuggestion of how things might go if we are all willing to open ourminds and have our own conversations with divinity. --BrianPatterson ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Divine Dare!
This is my second, perhaps third pass through this wonderfully stated, simply phrased yet provocative work.Book two, in the CwG series, deals with the human being in a societal setting. The main themes pervading this work speak to problems and possible solutions for sustaining a healthy, vigorous, joyful, non-discriminatory way of life for everyone. This work asserts that there are two main prescriptions that have to be filled in order to begin the healing process, they are:1.) A personal and global shift of consciousness such that we internalize and behave according to the premise that there is no such thing as separation from God or each other.2.) Complete transparency in all respects with regard to: finance, government, corporate accounting etc.

At the risk of sounding obtuse or negative, the second recommendation as listed above will not work unless the first recommendation is implemented (naturally) but I don't see how people, especially the "haves" will want to even contemplate changing their consciousness (and conscience!) knowing that such a change will instigate theaforementioned corollary (i.e. transparency.)My observation via personal experience is that the wealthy are so extremely ensconced in a fear based mentality, that they would rather die themselves, than have to give up their profligate lifestyles.

This is a great work with incredible insights that are all at once: cogent, rational, loving and kind but perhaps somewhat chimerical in that in my estimation those whom have so much to give away are no where near ready to adjust their current station in life so that others may have the very basics of survival.I do hope I'm wrong.5 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars great read!
This book is very easy to comprehend, and it makes more sense than most anything I have ever learned about God. For me, this book represents truth.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome power
I ordered this book and received it very quickly. The book was in great shape at an awesome price!! Very happy with the service.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nothing but New Agte Beliefs wrapped in Jesus Christ's name.
This work of garbage is nothing more than a work of New Age teachers trying to trick you into believing it is of God and biblically sound. ANYONE that has studied the Bible for a little while WILL CLEARLY see this is NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If, like me, you have ever studied or been into the New Age religion or the Occult, you WILL see clearly the teachings they try to pass off as the Gospel in this work of garbage!!!

If you are a true Christian, stay VERY far from this piece of trash unless it is to study what NOT to believe.
Go read a book called, "Christianity in Crisis" by Hank Hanegraaff It WILL blow your mind as to what these false teachers are really teaching and where these teachings come from. People you would never think of being a false teacher are in fact teaching the New Age occult. TBN is one of the BIGGEST promoters of that trash in fact.

I know you may not believe this so PLEASE go and check it out for yourselves.

2-0 out of 5 stars Skip book 2, Book 1 said it all and much better
I want to first start off by saying that Conversations with God- book 1, was a very good book.I was looking forward to book 2.

But wow. This book really stunk. And bad.I tried to like it.Yes, there were a few pages that added new concepts not covered in book 1.But the tone of this book was full of way too much ranting and railing that I could stomach. And he blew his cover, because in book 1, I could imagine God speaking like that, but in book 2- no way Jose. This was all Neale Donald Walsch imo.

I don't want to spend too much time, but if you look at some of the one star reviews, I couldn't agree more.I mean he gets off on this one world government shtick, evil corporations, Jimmy Carter-Bill Clinton loving, and just some weird beyond conspiracy / far left dare I say craziness. Now keep in mind, I'm no Right Wing Bible thumper, but it was a bit too much even for me.

So do yourself a favor.Don't waste your time or money on this book.Book 1 yes, book 2- gag me with a spoon.
