expired coupons, little information for tourist
this book sounds great, but then you find that the coupons are expired, there is little information for the tourist and not much more information than one can find just reading a few sites online. this book is definately geared toward those tht gamble or are starting to learn to gamble, not the travel guide that many may think it to be. very disapointed.

Worth the money
Our third trip to Vegas is coming up in October. I always use Alamo for our car rental and I have used the same coupon to book the car every trip. This alone more than paid for the cost of the book the first time I used it. I have never been asked for the coupon at the rental car center so am able to use it multiple times. We have also used several of the match play and food coupons. Although the majority of the coupons are for off strip locations, many are for downtown including Binions Steakhouse, Main Street Station etc. You won't be disappointed.

Bad

This was the worse book I ever bought.The pages are falling out because of bad binding. The contents are very poor. Casino's that I know are not in the book or not accurate. Very Very poor

Good reading at least
Well I never used any of the coupons in here but it did have good tips and reading in it. It was prompt on getting here.

worth the money
We bought this book before our last trip to Vegas. It was well worth it just one coupon for dinner paid for the book. We always rent a car so getting to the different places was easy. The two for one buffets at Green Valley, and the Silverton were great. If you only go to the big hotels on the strip you wont get the full benifit of the book. ... Read more

Great stories wonderfully captured!
This book was a joy to read and brought back many fond memories of some of the most spectacular and wacky plays in the major leagues over the years!Steve's writing style is funny and self-deprecating.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because one of the story accounts had an error (page 68) - the Don Zimmer and Perdo Martinez brawl.True the benches cleared in the top of the 4th during thr 2003 ALCS when Pedro was pitching and Karim Garcia (who was on 1st) slid hard into 2nd base on Soriano's hit, but that's not when Zimmer rushed Martinez.It was in the bottom of the 4th when Clemons threw high and tight on Manny that the benches cleared a 2nd time, and Zimmer rushed Pedro. Pedro was in his dugout jacket during the fight, so he clearly wasn't on the mound when the incident occurred.Good book though!I highly recommend it! ... Read more

This Vegas guide is worth the money
Of course, get a 2010 version!I have no complaints about this guide.The descriptions of things to do in Vegas as well as the hotel rates are pretty much as printed.What really makes this guide a bargain is all the coupons in the back.You get back all the money spent on this guide and then some.I think I saved around $100 on restaurants and car rental using these.

A Even Money Purchase
I bought this product a while ago. I get to LV once a year and Atlantic City 4 times a year. Most of the LV coupons are for the downtown casinos which I rarely have time to visit. I did use a few of the Atlantic City coupons, which about paid for the book. I did find some of the articles in the book interesting and informative.

a must have
used a bunch of these coupons already, it's a must have for a vegas vacation, probably saved over 100 bucks over the week using the 2 for 1 buffet coupons at places like The Silverton Casino (great place) The Sahara, New Orleans Casino, The Rio, Texas Station and several others. If you buy this book and use just 2 coupons it will have paid for itself in savings! Highly recommended.
