4-0 out of 5 stars book 2 of 3
Honestly, the three books should have been bound and sold as one at normal price. Instead, they divided the stories up and sold them individually at reduced rates. Still, to really get what the author intended the read to be like, you should read all 3.

The three books together tell the story of the same night at a BDSM club from the perspective of 3 different best friends. In the next, and final, book- Yes, My Mistress, the story starts about six weeks earlier with Dani and you learn how the whole evening came to be in the first place.

Dani is best friends with Natalie and Megan. This is Megan's story. To let you in on a little secret, Dani knows Ransom and Troy well. Ransom and Troy have been in a committed relationship for 5 years. The first and only relationship for either of them with someone other than a female. They are really sweet and clearly in love. But through events told in book 3 they come to realize that thier family isn't complete. They want a 3rd. They want a female to finish their family off. Out of the blue, Dani comes to them and tells them she really thinks her best friend Megan would be a perfect match for them (she has no idea they have been feeling like they are missing someone in their relationship). This is what sets in motion the plan to get Megan to the club on that fateful night with Dani and Natalie.

Ransom and Megan are instantly attracted (Troy is too, from a distance!) They take it upstairs where the 3 of them discover how complete the trio really is. Think along the lines of all the love at first sight books you have read.

In this book, Toy for Two, I was personally pushed. I love me some erotica, but I buck the trend and tend to stay away from the m/m action. Here the m/m happened to be easy for me to read.(the writing made it easy not shocking) I wasn't turned off at all. It was some of the other play that made my stomach cramp. She just seemed so innocent and she hadn't started out the evening even thinking about having sex much less BDSM with two men. There didn't seem to be much in the way of easing the girl into it. She went from zero to light speed instantly. That and the fact that the next day all 3 couples are making forever committments is unrealistic. But heck people it is fiction.. erotic romance fiction.. a fairy tale. Capiche?

I am going to be honest. I don't think I would have liked this book as a stand alone. I felt fufilled after having read all 3 of them. Together they told a really unique story. Unique and HAWT! Grab a towel, you are going to sweat, HOT.

2-0 out of 5 stars This book should be for free
Wow, The sample I read was actually pretty good so despite the lack of reviews I decided to give it a go...big mistake. The first two chapters were the best part of the book. If you want to read about sex and thats all then this is the book for you. Absolutely no storyline and I read it in like an hour, yet I paid for a full novel?

The apparent storyline is of 3 friends going to a BDSM club for a fun night out. Apparently the owner and his sexy male lover have decided they want a woman in their relationship and had planned on seducing the lead female Megan that night. When Megan saw Ransom (one of the male leads) she walks up to him and asks him to show her a good time..ookkkaaayyy..for a female who spent the first 3 chapters of the book stating she hadn't dated in 3 years, has never had an orgasm with someone etc thats a pretty big change of personality to jump at a stranger!!

well needless to say the scenes got extremely hot from there. Great scenes and HOT HOT HOT!

BUT, yes there is a couple of big ones about this book.

1. There are basic spelling mistakes in this book. It annoyed me.
2. The author can't even remember the colour of her characters eyes. In the beginning Ransom's eyes were described as celery green...then 10 minutes later Megan is looking into his clear BLUE eyes...okay never knew celery was Blue....

I paid full price for a novel, and got a novella with mistakes all over it.

**SLIGHT SPOILER** They shared one night with each other with so much action she should have been in a coma. I had a problem with some parts of the action they did in their playroom..don't get me wrong it was all consensual and she loved it! but for someone as innocent as her to jump into some of these acts doesn't ring true or make sense. Also in the morning after another bout of sex she tells them she loves them and wants to live with them forever and they love her too...Come on! After one night?! Then all of a sudden her father is downstairs making a scene. They all run downstairs have a big confrontation and thats how the book ends..literally...

Odd Odd book. Read it if you like sex but don't read it if you are expecting a storyline to go with it. The auther has some great potential if she fleshed out the plot. Hope this helps ;) ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars First book of 3- read them all for the full story
This series is a story about one hot night at a BDSM club. Each story focuses on one of the three best girl friends: Megan, Natalie, and Dani. The series begins with Natalie's story. But, you won't learn until the last book, Dani's story, that she is the instigator behind the night. Her book starts six weeks prior to this night and you learn what all transpired so that she could work together with the men in the book as their fairy godmother to bring each of them their Happily Ever After.

Max and Natalie have worked together for 4 years in publishing. Workaholic Nat oogles all over Max lushing to her friends, Dani and Megan, about how amazing he is. Max silent pines for Natalie, unaware he stars in her fantasies as well. When Max spots Dani at a BDSM club he secretly owns he learns of the mutual attraction and the two plot to get Natalie out of the office and into his club where the rules strictly state that if you cross the threshold you agree to play! Dani gets her gal pals into the limo and delivers them to the club as promised. This is the story of how Max lights Natalie's fire so bright that night that she isn't going to be working late at the office anymore! It's four years of passion in the making and both of their dreams are going to come true.

This this is a sweet, mushy sex story? Think again. There is a twisted twist to how Max plays with Natalie. Mmmm. Don't let it unnerve you. The girl has a safeword and she knowingly chooses to not use it.

It is an ok story on it's own. Probably 3 stars. But with the other two stories, which are also priced low, it makes a great novel. Megan's story of what she does that night comes next and the final book about Dani puts the puzzle together and tells the story of her long awaited night and its happily ever after.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent Book. It is What it is.
I purchased this out of blatant curiosity and it's a toss up whether I'm disappointed or not. The plot is rather stupid and the writing style really started to bother me after the first few pages. The characters have the same two or three thoughts over and over and after a while you're tired of reading them.
Luckily the book is more of a novella or I don't think I would have been able to get as far in it as I did. It only took me an hour or less to muddle through it and even then I didn't read the end.
I will say that the author does not shy away from the sex and since this is a work of erotic fiction, that's what's most important. You probably won't be disappointed there, just skip the beginning and don't bother reading the end.

5-0 out of 5 stars At the Dungeon Master's Hand
Natalie Buchanan needs a break. She just wants to relax when her friends drag her out, taking her to Le Club d'Esclavage. As she rushes from the bar a stranger approaches her and she melts as he opens her eyes to a whole new world.
At the Dungeon Master's Hand will whip you into a frenzy.Jennifer Cole works this story like she is wielding the flogger. The whole air of mystery keeps you reading and the hot masterful sex makes you want it to keep going until you fly into the space of happiness that only true BDSM will give you.

Customer Reviews (3)

4-0 out of 5 stars Last book of 3
Cole wrote three novellas about one night at a BDSM that changes the lives of 3 best friends forever. Together the 3 novellas make one cool book. Seperately, they are average.

The other two books begin in the limo riding to the BDSM that night. This book starts six weeks earlier with Dani finally deciding that she is going to scratch her itch and learn about being a dominatrix from one of the best around, Troy, at a new club in town. Troy agrees and together he and his partner/lover Ransom work with Dani over the 6 weeks training her inner Dom. (although she knows how to play dom, she is really more sub and that comes out for experimentation too). While under Troy's tutalage, she sees the hunky head of security, Max, at the bar day after day. The bulge in his pants and twinkle in his eye lets Dani know she is not alone in her attraction, but Master Troy delays their satisfaction until her training is done- that fateful night when the three best friends travel together to Club L. You also learn how Dani conspired with Max to get Nat to act on her passion for him, (book 1) and how Dani struggles to approach Ransom and Troy about Megan who she thinks would be perfect for the two of them (book 2).

All I can say is the walls must be soundproof with all the screaming that went on that night! And how any of them made their legs move the next day to argue with the senator and go out to brunch is beyond me. It's fiction. The rest of us would have been in a sex coma.

5-0 out of 5 stars Yes, My Mistress
A fierce curiosity and determination is the catapult that begins a series of events that changes Dani Miller's life. Dani is the best kind of friend and daughter who is always willing to lend a shoulder, and just as eager to jump into work when needed. An article in the magazine In the Know leads Dani to Le Club d'Esclavage, a BDSM club, where she sees the opportunity to explore her desire to dominate a man sexually, and Mike Ranger is just that man.
Mike Ranger is floored when he first lays eyes on Dani Miller. His entire being cries out that she is his. The only obstacle is that she wishes to be his Mistress and he now has to wait until the right time to reveal his Dominant side.

Yes, My Mistress is the third book in Jennifer Cole's Le Club d'Esclavage series. It finally explains Dani and Mike's history. Although I don't believe you have to read the series in order, it did round out some of the details found in the first two books. If I could use one word to describe Yes, My Mistress it would be: intense. Dani and Mike's sexual tension was extremely palpable and the boiling point proved to be well worth it.

5-0 out of 5 stars 5 Hearts from The Romance Studio
Mike and Dani well-drawn, realistic and dynamic characters full of passion, courage and deeply moving desire. These two dynamic characters personalities seem to take the story out of the range of ordinary and move it directly into sublime. The steamy sexual BDSM scenes are well done, with the sex being scorching hot, and the dominant play pushes the boundaries of the heroine and hero for their intensely erotic satisfaction. This story emphasizes the enjoyment and satisfaction that both the hero and heroine receive from sex that includes bondage, spanking and dominant play. It is absolutely wonderful when a woman finds a man who can equally match her desires while unleashing her inner wild side. The appealing secondary characters seamlessly work to compliment the story as well as the hero and heroine.

Ms. Cole is an author who never disappoints no matter what genre she is writing in. Her sharp eye for detail, dialogue, sensual delights and touches of humor guarantee a captivating gem of a story. - Shannon ... Read more

Committed to one another and their union, Van Dansk and Calen Maxwell decide to spice things up by bringing a third into their bed. They intend to invite the lovely straight barmaid from the local gay/bi night club to join them in a ménage à trois. Their equally committed gay friends, Philip Weston and Jake Welland have the same intentions.

Melanie Drake has been secretly lusting over the seductive, teasing group of friends for six months. She's not delusional, however; she knows her infatuation with the two homosexual couples is completely one-sided and is content to keep her 'love affair' with the four hunks exactly where it belongs -- in her mind.

One night of alcohol indulgence leads the four men to proposition Melanie into going home with one lucky couple. She can't choose one couple over the other, because in her fantasies Melanie has all four men in her bed, together.

But that's just a fantasy, and fantasies aren't real.

A business card left behind by a regular in her restaurant intrigues Alayna Valerian. While visiting the Web site scrawled on the back, she finds herself submerged into the fetish world of BDSM. She learns the man who has been eating in her café for six months--and sets her libido on fire--is a Dominant, as well as co-owner of an establishment that teaches the art of mastery and submission. As her research deepens, she recognizes her submissive nature and decides the ruggedly, distinguished Logan Abram is the Dominant to show her the pleasures to be attained at the hands of the right man.

While I like a possessive Alpha Male, Logan was downright stalker - like. While there were things I liked about the story and characters, I could not get over his behavior.

5-0 out of 5 stars 5 Hearts from TRS!
Count on the very dynamic Jennifer Cole to delight her readers with a story that is dazzling on many levels: fantastic writing, impressive characterization, sexual tension and a depth of emotions that is stunning. Alayna's Training is a sinfully delicious and erotic story focusing on one woman's journey towards sexual submission at the hands of the right master. The tension never lets up and readers will find themselves riveted to the pages of this story as each scene takes them further and further into the lifestyle of D/s. Ms. Cole clearly has done her research about the world of BDSM which continuously comes across to the reader as she takes the time to demonstrate the physical as well as the psychological aspects for a better understanding.

Logan and Alayna are well-developed, intelligent, endearing characters with an extreme emotional depth that immediately grabs the reader. These two memorable characters will remain with the reader long after the last word is read. Logan is a sexy dominant man who is emotionally flawed and haunted by the past, yet the struggle he must face is real and powerful. Alayna is a feisty and formidable heroine with a touch of underlying vulnerability to her that will enchant the reader. The bond between Logan and Alayna is a deep down soul-felt connection that is realistic, emotionally charged and sensually powerful. The love scenes are vividly described including the elements of BDSM, leaving nothing to the imagination pushing the boundaries for smoking hot pleasure. The strong secondary characters prove just as enchanting as the hero and heroine.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good Effort
This story was pretty well developed and I was fairly well engaged however I felt that the main character spent too much time harping on her weight and it became a bit redundant at times. The relationship between the main character and Jack was pretty involved but it felt like Lane was just thrown in for affect and his character could have been developed a bit more. I kept waiting for more interaction between the three of them outside of their sexual encounters but that never happened. If you are looking for a fully developed ménage or poly relationship then this book may leave you wanting. Other than these issues this is a pretty decent story.

In the book Ceremonies of the Seasons, author Jennifer Cole explores holidays and traditions from around the world. So, if you are in the mood to celebrate, as I am, this book is filled with lore and tradition from many different cultures and religions.

The book itself is absolutely beautiful! At 160 pages, there are gorgeous illustrations on almost every page.

And it's broken up into 10 sections:

Introduction:Why do we celebrate, Seasonal and Sacred Calendars, Cycles of the Sun and Moon, Solstices and Equinoxes, and Understanding the Ancient Year.

Winter turns to Spring:Emergence, First Flowers, Brighid, the Bright One, Candlemas, Chinese New Year, Groundhog Day, Love Festivals.

Spring:Spring Equinox, New Beginnings, The Roots of Modern Easter, Festivals of Colour, Love and Motherhood, Springs Storms and the Wind Flower, and Resurrected Gods.

Spring turns to Summer:May Day,A Blanket of Flowers, Banishing the Darkeness, Hawthorns; the Fairy Tree, Horned Gods and May Games, the Green Man.

Summer:Summer Solstice, Sun, Light and Fire, Summer in the Zodiac, A Time to Pause, The Oak:King of the Woods, Solstice Sites.

Summer turns to Autumn:Harvest, Remembering Ancestors, Crop Deities - Myth and Ritual, Lughnasadh, Sheaf Ceremonies, Death and Rebirth.

Autumn:Autumn Equinox, Marking Equinox and Harvest, Rosh Hashanah to Sukkot, Moon Cakes and Lanterns, Celebrating the Vines, Dying Light.

Autumn turns to Winter:Twilight, Thanksgiving and Feasts of Plenty, Days and Nights of the Dead, Bonfire Nights, Diwali.

Winter:Winter Solstice, The Light Returns, The Arrival of Father Christmas, Yule Logs and Christmas Trees, Chaos and Misrule, Renewing the Cycle, Winter and the Underworld.

The For Reference section:Zodiac Months, The Tree Calendar, Cherokee Moon Months, Glossary, Further Reading, Index, Picture Credits and Acknowledgments.

As I read through each section, I was not only impressed at the amount of work she put into this book as a reference tool, but her writing was easy and flowing. This book was a very enjoyable read.

Each section starts off with a lovely and fresh quote that has not yet been overused; for instance, Spring's quote is "Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems."Rainer Maria Rilke.

The book is rich with old legends and folktales, and where she does talk about what some specific cultures did to celebrate various traditions, she is not actually offering up specific traditions for each season (you can use your imagination and come up with your own after reading the chapter).

I would highly recommend this book to anyone wishing to find out more about various traditions, or who had an interest in seasonal folklore and legend. As a folklore writer, I love this book, and find it not only beautiful, but a very useful reference tool.

2-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Pictures
This is a mundane coffee table book, in paperback form. The discussion of the various rituals are in historical context, with very little mentioned regarding their theological meanings. Also there are no practical concepts regarding their modernization. The "meanings" which are assigned to the discussed festivals relate only to the practicalities of ancient civilizations and their mode of survival. The variety of religions or "traditions" approached in the text is not impressive either because no information about the "tradition" is given other than it's name, and a few of the primary actors.

The format is very similar to:
There was a guy named John who was a religious man.He lived in a village. His town grew apple trees and they would eat the apples in the fall when they were ripe. They called it the apple ritual.

There's nothing the least bit spiritual about this book.I'm very disappointed in this text.Dull dry historical regurgitation. Very Fluffy Bunny!

4-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful to look at......
This is certainly a beautiful book to look at, but there really was no NEW information in it for me. If you are a student of the metaphysical or Pagan tradition...or even Roman and Greek mythology...then you have probably read it all before.

That said, it is a beautifully illustrated book and is wonderful and inspiring to look at.....if you are new to the genre, you will love it! I am sure however that you would find much more info in other books! ... Read more

Product Description
The wish book.

This amazing year, the nine children in the Cole family have been allowed to sit down with the Sears, Roebuck and Company catalogue to choose the gift they would most like to receive for Christmas. This is a rare event, for the Coles are not wealthy.

Indeed, Cole Family Christmas is the true, tender, and wholly unforgettable tale of a coal miner's family. The story takes place in the small company town of Benham, Kentucky, in a time (1920) and place when coal was king and families made their precarious living mining the dirty and sometimes deadly coal.

When one of Mama's few possessions, a treasured purple glass bowl with fluted edges, is accidentally broken by exuberant children rushing in from the outdoors, and an unlikely blizzard prevents Papa from coming home after working extra hours at the coal mine on Christmas Eve, the stage is set for a Christmas morning in which gifts are given and received that no one could have predicted. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Cole Family Christmas
Perfect for : Family reading / Children

In a nutshell: This is a beautifully written and illustrated book full of fun family memories. Written by the youngest Cole child, Hazel, and her grand-daughter-in-law Jenniffer, the authors write a wonderful story that retells a favorite family Christmas that took place just before the Depression. I had so much fun taking a walk down memory-lane with this book. While I did not grow up in a coal town, I did enjoy making my list for Santa from the Sears Wish Book each year when I was younger! I also remember sitting with my parents and reading from family books each night, which is something the Cole family does. Finally, the book leaves the reader with a powerful message of love, family, and Christmas wishes.

Extended Review: With nine children in the house, something was bound to happen sooner or later, and the story starts with one of Mother Cole's favorite carnival glass bowls accidentally being broken. That night after dinner, the children get to look through the special Wish Book and choose something they want to write to Santa for.

Christmas Eve arrives and the family gets ready for the town holiday party. The party ends early as the miners need to try to get one more load onto the train and out of the town before the snow storm shuts the rails down. All through the night, Mother Cole stays up to make sure her husband returns safely, and the children pray for his safe return.

With the worst snow storm in 100 years, the family fears that Santa won't be able to make it to their house, but the children each receive a precious gift that they will always cherish.

Characters: The members of the Cole family make up a heart-warming group. The main character of the story is Ruble, whom the authors disclose as the families main story-teller. This wonderful family will work its way into your heart and help you remember what the holidays are really about!

Story-line: I can see why Hazel chose to retell this family story with the help of her grand-daughter-in-law - it is a wonderful story, and I hope to have many family memories like this one.

Readability: A very fun and easy read, great for children and adults alike.

Overall: A wonderful family-friendly holiday story. This wonderful family will work its way into your heart and help you remember what the holidays are really about! I hope you will join me in adding this book to your holiday collection.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for families to read together!
One of my favorite books I read over Christmas was a children's book called "Cole Family Christmas" by Jennifer Liu Bryan with Hazel Cole Kendle. This is a true story of Hazel's family at Christmas time in 1920.

As a coal miner's family of nine children they don't have much money, but they realize they are rich in many other ways. The children are excited about getting a chance to look through the 'wish book' for Christmas ( a Sears, Roebuck and Company catalogue). Each child may choose a gift that they really want.

"Think carefully about how good you've been this year when you make your wish," Mama said. "There are plenty of magical things in this book that Santa could bring to some lucky Cole children - if they just look." And with that, Mama searched the book's pages and opened the volume wide, pointing.

From one of Mama's treasured possession getting broken to Papa getting caught in a blizzard coming home from the mine Christmas Eve, everyone realizes how special this Christmas will be. When Christmas morning arrives, the true meaning of giving and receiving shines through all their hearts.

This warm and tender book about family should be read to every child 'any' time of the year! The story reminds you of how family memories are to be cherished and passed down to the next generation to enjoy. Kids will love the goat, Hilda, who gets to live in the house when it's cold outside. I loved the illustrations that brought the Cole family to life for me as I read the book. The Cole Family Christmas story will help you realize that the best gift you can give someone is something from the heart.

5-0 out of 5 stars Christmas Tradition
Looking at the cover of this book made me smile. It promises a treat inside, and it delivers! A true story, that tells about a poor/rich family experiencing the real meaning of Christmas. Further enhanced with beautifully detailed illustrations by Jenniffer Julich, the story holds the reader's attention page after page. Why, there are even "six vintage Christmas-themed fabrics featured on the borders" that reflect Mama Cole's quilts!

You'll find good use of vocabulary, table manners, and sharing skills.

The Cole family is a special one because of their love and their traditions of Christmas. Each member is valued, and in nine chapters a story is told that can become a part of your family tradition. I loved the gifts for Mama Cole. A terrific chapter book!

One Christmas in the 1920s, nine siblings in a Kentucky miner's family were allowed to ask Santa for presents from the Sears catalogue wish book.

The girls and boys were expecting their best Christmas ever.

They got their wish. But none of it came from the Sears catalogue.

An unexpected snowstorm that stopped the mail led to gifts given and received that no one expected. The story of that memorable holiday was part of the oral history kept by the family for four generations.

Now, it's a touching book for other families to enjoy.

Next Chapter Press released 60,000 copies of the 74-page Cole Family Christmas today, marking the literary debut of author Hazel Cole Kendle, 88, and her grandaughter-in-law, Jennifer Liu Bryan.

Kendle was the youngest of the Cole children.

"It was my sister Ruble, our family's storyteller, who passed down to me the story of a magical Christmas when things didn't go quite as planned," Kendle said. "Yet that Christmas became one of my family's most beloved and memorable holidays."

Kendle, in turn, told the story to her children, who then told it to their own children.

"I think this tale has been meaningful to each new generation," she said.

Bryan said she hopes Cole Family Christmas inspires other families preserve their histories.

"Having the opportunity to spend time listening to Hazel's stories has been such a rewarding experience," she said. "I hope other families can share their cherished tales in this way, too."

Actually, more than 20 Cole family members collaborated on Cole Family Christmas, from background research to design.

The $17.95 book is earmarked for ages 9 to 12, but its nine short chapters are designed for family read-alouds with all ages. Said Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson, R-Texas: "...the book reminds us of some of the greatest treasures of Christmas - creating family memories that last generations." ... Read more

Product Description

Sex and Salvation chronicles the coming of age of a generation of women in Tamatave in the years that followed Madagascar’s economic liberalization. Eager to forge a viable future amid poverty and rising consumerism, many young women have entered the sexual economy in hope of finding a European husband. Just as many Westerners believe that young people break with the past as they enter adulthood, Malagasy citizens fear that these women have severed the connection to their history and culture.

Jennifer Cole’s elegant analysis shows how this notion of generational change is both wrong and consequential. It obscures the ways young people draw on long-standing ideas of gender and sexuality, it ignores how urbanites relate to their rural counterparts, and it neglects the relationship between these husband-seeking women and their elders who join Pentecostal churches. And yet, as talk about the women circulates through the city’s neighborhoods, bars, Internet cafes, and churches, it teaches others new ways of being.

Cole’s sophisticated depiction of how a generation’s coming of age contributes to social change eschews a narrow focus on crisis. Instead, she reveals how fantasies of rupture and conceptions of the changing life course shape the everyday ways that people create the future.

Product Description
While doing fieldwork in a village in east Madagascar that had suffered both heavy settler colonialism and a bloody anticolonial rebellion, Jennifer Cole found herself confronted by a puzzle. People in the area had lived through almost a century of intrusive French colonial rule, but they appeared to have forgotten the colonial period in their daily lives. Then, during democratic elections in 1992Ð93, the terrifying memories came flooding back. Cole asks, How do once-colonized peoples remember the colonial period? Drawing on a fine-grained ethnography of the social practices of remembering and forgetting in one community, she develops a practice-based approach to social memory. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars This feels unfinished.....
Yes, the sex is HOT! in this book, but you're reading it for the stories, which were good but all 3 felt unfinished. This is a compilation of 3 short story ebks about 3 girlfriends and their 4 men- one has a menage- and each takes place within the club, pretty much on the same night. Because of this- the last story/book should have been the first in this print version, as Dani was the catalyst to the three girlfriends ending up at this club in the first place.

Natalie, "At the Dungeon Master's Hand" (49 pgs)- seems the strongest of the 3 girls, is introduced into the D/s lifestyle by her coworker Max, from the publishing house they both work at, and who is also a Dom and the club's elusive owner. (How and why he's working at both is never believably explained). These two have a strong secret attraction for each other at work, and it explodes in this story, at his club.

Megan, "A Toy For Two" (112 pgs)- a senator's daughter who is emotionally abused by her father- finds love and acceptance with the club's manager Troy, and his lover, Ransom. This is a story of deep and loving emotions between three people and also her introduction into the D/s lifestyle as a sub.

Dani, "Yes, My Mistress" (112 pgs)- is a young woman that because of circumstances, doesn't get to go to college but instead stays to help her parents at their diner. She supposedly, loves her life and friends but goes looking into the D/s lifestyle and ends up asking for Dominatrix lessons to satisfy her sexual frustrations. Unfortunately, she's really a sub and even if Troy her teacher, his lover Ransom, and her main-attraction Mike, indulge her in this- it never really feels right. Her sub personality keeps coming through which seems fine with Mike, who works in the industry, but you get the feeling he doesn't really need it. He's just out to have good sex. Dani is the one that decides to bring Natalie there to help she and Max follow through on their attraction, and Megan because she shows signs of being a sub and needs someone to love and care for her.

All 3 stories are good, but are really short stories and unfinished. With Natalie, you think "Okay, they've found something great but what's next? How will this experience translate outside the club after tonight?" With Megan, you think, "Okay the guys saved her from her father at this one time, but will she really be able to live at, and with two men at a fetish club being in the public eye?" and "What about her father? Will he really just let her go?" And Dani, you wonder, "Will she embrace her true sub side, or will she and Mike just play at D/s for the kicks but really be a vanilla couple?" And there is also the fact that because these were all originally stand-alone books- you have to skip over many pages of the 'how they ended up there' introduction in both the 2nd and 3rd stories.

If you're looking for a book about three women and their introduction into the D/s lifestyle and some great sex- buy this book, but don't expect any "ah-h-h-h endings"- these stories leave you feeling like this is just one experience, and the first stage, of their exciting new lives.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very HOT BDSM READS!!!
For short stories I was impressed.

At the Dungeon Masters Hand-This was just a hot read because it was her first experience with that type of lifestyle and honestly to see it firsthand can turn you on without you ever wanting it to.You want to look away but at the same time you can't.She has no idea that someone is watching her or that it turns out to be someone she works with. The sex is off the charts, the BDSM part is not too extreme. It was great!

A Toy for two- One of my first experiences reading m/m interactions.CAN we say HOT!Those two men did it for me by themselves but add in a third and one direct the other in how to handle her was just erotic.

Yes Mistress-Another great story with a woman in charge.Who doesn't want to reign a man in every once in awhile to make sure they behave?

I have read several books by Ms. Cole and she is great.Check out Delicious Taboo as well. She is an author that I have on my auto-buy list.Keep up the good work!!!!! ... Read more

Product Description

"This volume illuminates how families and the communities in which they are enmeshed negotiate everyday lives with the social, cultural, economic, and political resources available to them. It provides an excellent example of how anthropology matters to our understanding of the contemporary world and its global restructuring." -- Karen Tranberg Hansen, Northwestern University

Globalization is not only a large-scale phenomenon: it is also inextricably bound up with intimate aspects of personhood, care, and the daily decisions through which we make our lives. Looking at sub-Saharan Africa, Madagascar, Mexico, the U.S., Europe, India, and China, Generations and Globalization investigates the impact of globalization in the context of families, age groups, and intergenerational relations. The contributors offer an innovative approach that focuses on the changing dynamics between generations, rather than treating changes in childhood, youth, or old age as discrete categories. They argue that new economies and global flows do not just transform contemporary family life, but are in important ways shaped and constituted by it.

Contributors are Jennifer Cole, Deborah Durham, Jessica Greenberg, Sarah Lamb, Julie Livingston, Roger Magazine, Andrea Muehlebach, Martha Areli Ramírez Sánchez, and T. E. Woronov.

Product Description
This volume is a collection covering the diverse areas of psycholinguistics, syntax, computational linguistics and phonology. Abney's paper on Chunks provides an interesting new approach to phrase structure, motivated by psycholinguist data, something that is rarely done. Berwick and Fong provide a history of computational implementations of (Chomskyan) Transformational Grammar. Cole's phonology paper, arguing from Chamorro and English stress that cyclicity is not needed in phonology, is also preceded by a one-and-a-half-page introduction on why this is relevant to computation. Coleman's contribution summarises work on computational phonology and describes the York Talk speech synthesis system. Hirschberg and Sproat's paper describes a system they have written to assign pitch accent to unrestricted text in an RT&T text-to-speech system. This is very much applied natural language processing, but their system represents a more thorough-going attempt at doing this well than has been previously attempted, and this appears to be the first write-up of this work. Johnson and Moss introduce Stratified Feature Grammar, a formal model of language, inspired by Relational Grammar but formalised by using and extending tools developed in the unification grammar community. Finally, Nakazawa extends further Tomita's work so that computer science LR parsing methods can be applied to natural language grammars, here feature-based grammars. ... Read more
