There is hope........
It is uplifting to read the success stories of dog adoption.This book clearly portrays the gift that these rescued dogs bring to us, their forever owners.One is amazed at the gift of love these dogs can give after such a long, sometimes horrible journey to find us. The pictures and the stories will touch your heart.

collection of inspirational dog stories
A beautiful book, printed on heavy paper with wonderful photographs of the rescued dogs and their owners.Inspirational short stories that might make people go out and adopt a dog. This book would make a good gift for a dog lover.The stories are great and the book is well made.

Heart warming
This book truly captures the joy of adopting a rescue dog and the essence of dog ownership.The stories are beautiful and will touch your heart. As I read each story I found one similarity among the dogs and the people they found; both owners and dogs were appreciative and truly expressed how blessed they were to have found each other.I have 2 rescue dogs and 3 rescue cats and they all have brought so much joy to my life.I highly recommend this book to anyone.

Great stories
The dogs' stories are very moving and inspirational, but anytime you have a book that takes stories from multiple people, there are always going to be some that just aren't that well written.I felt like that took away from the impact of the book.

Boring, boring,boring
This stories do not keep little audience motivated. My kids did not last 5 minutes listening the CD. (And they loooove to listen audio books...) Jamie Lee Curtis is not good as storyteller she is rather boring. Her voice expresses no emotion in any part of the CD. I would NOT recomend anyone to waste money in this CD. It is awful!!

This Audiobook Was Good. I Just Wish It was Unabridged Unstead of Abridged!
I didn't read the book Little Women by Louisa May Alcott but I did listen to an abridged audiobook read by Jamie Lee Curtis who did a great job and I thought The story of Little Women was very good and I liked it so much that I'm looking to find both the paperback book and also to find an enexpensive unabridged audiobook. I just wish that Jamie Lee Curtis had read for an unabridged audiobook. As for the story itself I found Little Women to be very entertaining with compelling characters like Jo, Marmee, Laurie, etc, and I highly recommend it, (paperback, hardcover, or audio cassette or audio CD). ...
