This book has many positive points but sometimes goes off the deepend.

Evidently according to this book.Men go bald because they wear hats.Women don't go bald because their hats fit more loosely.A man without ambition is worthless.

There are things here that could be written better.Some of it can be downright discouraging instead of trying to help you.Other parts are superstitious and if I had not heard them explained better earlier I would have found this book very difficult to digest.

I preferred Awaken the Giant within, mastery and psycho-cybernetics.They have a more modern positive approach.An approach that does not rely on religion and superstition.

Thinking is not enough, here's what you need.
This is the first book I ever read on the subject of conscious reality creation, I was a young teenager then. The memorable quote "whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve" changed my life. At school I was indoctrinated with affirmations such as "no pain, no gain", "life is a struggle, get used to it", etc. Deep inside I never agreed with these beliefs. I remember that I picked this book because of the title unaware of the fame of the author. I loved what I saw there. From that day I was convinced that you can master you thoughts to achieve whatever you desire.

Many many years later I know that I was right. However thinking is not enough. You need to think and feel. And not just think anything. If you desire let's say a partner (you can be rich in terms of money but also in terms of health and relationships, etc), you need to think about your desired partner but not from a perspective of lack, but from a perspective of the wonderful feeling you will have when you will have manifested him/her. Whether you are thinking about the past or the future, you are doing it now. And by taking pleasure in the thought of your future creation, you are so much closer to it.

This book is a springboard to conscious reality creation, it inspired me to create my reality. I am enormously grateful I read it so young. It sowed a seed inside me which has grown to be a beautiful flower.

Poor-quality, rushed edition
Let me start off by saying that this is an amazing book.It is a bit dated in places, but that does nothing to diminish the incredibly inspiring messages that Mr. Hill has to offer.

However, this particular edition is a complete mockery.It is obvious that the printer simply took an old copy of the book, scanned it, and ran it through an optical recognition program without checking the results.Blatant typos appear nearly once per page, punctuation appears randomly throughout sentences or is omitted entirely.

What boggles my mind is the amount of effort it must have taken to put this edition together compared to the little extra effort required to read through and find the errors.We deserve better than this.

This is an excellent book with very useful information to an entrepreneur. I wish the quality of the paper it is written on was a little better.

I read this years ago. Recently I saw an infomercial for it with CDs and a thousand false promises. The informercial was funny to me because I knew I could buy the book for far less on Amazon.
So why didn't the book make me wealthy the first time or the second time? I forgot how difficult it is to read. The book was written in 1937. The language speaks diffently from the way we speak. Also the author loves many of the same people who helped make Wall Street wealthy leaving out the common man.
It's still an interesting read that causes no harm. It is, after all, a classic. I still can become wealthy! ... Read more
