Great book
One of the gratest compliments I ever received for my book "Last Buckaroo" came from Publisher's Weekly when they said it was "reminisant of Max Evan's 'The Rounders'"

The fact that a 1960's TV series was based on this fast moving, comical novel attests to the fact that I was not the only one that felt it was one of the greatest western books that was ever written.

The only sad thing about this story is that it remined me of how much the western lifestyle has changed in such a short period of time.

Thank you Mr. Evans for capturing a few moments of the good times for us in your great book.

Simply a great set of books covering systems and network forensics
As you can find in their individual reviews, each book received high marks on its own merit.Put together and this set of three books cannot be beat in the area of system and network forensics.

Although not entrenched in the area of forensics, I do feel that I have a strong technical background upon which to build.I found this series of books refocusing me to think more like a forensics investigator.Not only did I have the opportunity to dig deeper into specific technology areas, but it also reinforced the concepts through scenarios.

Not for the faint of heart, this practical set of books expects you to have a decent technical background to make the best use of it.If you are interested in taking your forensics know-how to the next level, this is a great reference set to be added to your library.

Great book, great info
This set of books is very well written and provides a tremendous amount of information to the reader.I would recommend this set of books to anyone who wants to roll up their sleeves and truly get their hands dirty.

I would not recommend these books for the beginner as the material will quickly give one the feeling of "Drinking from a firehose" without a reasonable amount of knowledge going in.The authors do state that while the books are written to be easy to understand they are not for the beginner.

Short and a little bitter
I will keep this review short and sweet considering I like to be long-winded and might go on a tangent about how Kehinde Wiley is a great artist. But to restate a fact, Kehinde Wiley is a terrific artist, I respect him and I enjoy looking at his artwork, which is why I wanted to purchase this book. When I received this book, I was a little bit disappointed in the size or thickness of the book, I felt that it was too short. The painting in the book were great but I felt that I could have just kept my money and searched through the internet and enjoy his works from Brazil. I felt that it's not worth the money to spend on this book considering it's extremely short and thinner than I thought it was. As stated before, I could have saved my money and just rummaged through tumblr, flickr or a random google search. This book was okay and I recommend it to people who are an avid fan of Wiley and love to keep his pieces on hand in something tangible. If you are not one of those people and just want to see what Wiley's artwork is all about then I suggest you save your money and google search his artworks.

Kehinde Wiley is an African American artist whose childhood in the notoriously gang and crime ridden South Central Los Angeles served as the stimulus for his investigating the world through art, a journey that has taken him to studies at Yale University and on to his current home base in New York City.With the artistic progress of Kehinde Wiley comes a profound respect for the grand portraiture of the past, the portraits of famous, powerful and wealthy men painted by the likes of Gainsborough, Titian, Reynolds, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Holbein, Eakins and others.Wiley's obsession, so obvious in his majestic paintings, is to bring that same degree of dignity to the neglected African American male, placing his own heritage on the degree of celebration that has been history's realm of the White Man. The book's okay - the reader is just reading, and poorly at that!
There are plenty of dissertations on what this story is about and a couple about how the listeners liked it. This one is about how the reader (Brian Keith Lewis) read it.
This is my first Danielle Steel book and the first read by Lewis. Regardless of the story line and how it progressed I was distracted by the cadence or rhythm used by Lewis. It was like he was reading...it line by...line with broken sentences and thoughts. He would start something and move...along through it and then...finish it. It was all wrong and took a lot from the story.
I always compliment Brilliance Audio on the use of many tracks which makes 'backing up' a very minor inconvenience instead of a major hassle; likewise, I appreciate the notice that a disk is/has ended, the announcement that starts each disk and the repeat of the last sentence from the just-finished disk. I never have a question when to switch or that I've switched to the correct-next disk. ... Read more
