Incredibly hilarious
This book on tape is perfect for long car, bus, train, or plane rides.It's the story of Cyril Bonhamy, a hapless British tourist in Nice, France who somehow manages to get himself mixed up with one of France's mostdangerous criminals.This is mostly due to the fact that he is under theimpression that, even after all of these years, the French people reallydon't know how to speak their own language.He, on the other hand, speaks"fluent" French, which, of course, is really just English with abad French accent. This story is incredibly funny.If you enjoy Britishhumor (or, should I say humour), such as "The Hitchhiker's Guide tothe Galaxy," then you will enjoy this story. ... Read more

We had to buy this book for our 2-year-old son. The library only lets you keep books so long and someone kept demanding it. :-)

As a parent you'll appreciate the pronunciation next to all the dinosaur names! It's a very enjoyable book. It's not as much of a story/plot as it is a little rhyming description of each dinosaur... But still very interesting to our son.

These books are wonderful!Great illustrations!Very informational as well with nice rhyming.Has phonemic spelling of all dinosaur names as well which really helps!

A Fun Book!
Found this book a couple of years ago at our local library. This was the first book about dinosaurs that I had ever read to my daughter (now 4 1/2 years old). She liked it so much, we bought one for our home library. It has very cute and colorful illustrations and the rhyming words about the different kinds of dinosaurs are fun. You get a chance to follow a baby Diplodocus from the beginning of the book (as he hatches from the egg) to the end of the book (as he finally gets to snuggle with his Mama). My daughter enjoyed finding him (a small pink dinosaur) on each page (hiding behind trees, rocks, plants, swimming in the water, and trying his best to get out of the way of the other dinosaurs). I really believe this book stimulated her interest in dinosaurs and we've since bought several other books about dinosaurs.

Fun Book
My daughter and I enjoy Andreae's books and this is no exception.She is two and a half and love dinosaurs, so this was a big hit.It's got good pictures and fun rhymes.A good read.
