Sexxxy Informative Lucy biography by Marc Shapiro
An excellent biography of Lucy, the author put much time, effort, and research into it including conducting interviews with people who knew and had contact with Lucy. It is particularly excellent in covering Lucy's early years, Her trip to Europe and Australia and experiences there, and Her early acting career days to the early days of Xena. There is ample information not found elsewhere easily about Lucy from Her high school years to the time She began the Xena series. Marc stresses how everybody knew Lucy was so incredibly beautiful and gorgeous, that She was very determined, capable, and courageous, and that She and Garth were tempting the fates by having incredible Hot Sexxx in Australia (if not earlier). Great descriptions of Lucy especially Her younger years before Xena. Very lovely and sexy pics including of Lucy showing off Her famed Delicious Perfect Feet and Toes and one on the cover with Her Amazing Incomparable Breath-taking Mouth-watering Erotic Arousing Luscious Voluptuous Mesmerizing Heavenly Sexxxy Perfect Cleavage :) and Awesome Arousing Erotic natural Orgasmic and Sexual look Oh My God Yes Lucy! :) The book helps us know and understand Lucy better and also Her difficult times before being very successful as Xena. Good, but it needs better pictures
Most of the pictures in the book werent colored and the colored one were the worst pics of Lucy Lawless I've ever seen. The picture on the cover isn't clear and isn't a picture worth putting on the cover. He should usebetter pictures. The writing style was a little boring, but it containedgood info, except it doesnt explore the friendship between Lucy Lawless andRenee O'Connor even though in the back it said it does.

LUCY IS SUCH A CHARACTER TO INSPIRED ME
THE LESSONS IN THE SERIES REALLY TOUCHES MY HEART, I EVEN CONVINCED MY FAMILY TO WATCH XENA. SHE IS VERY FLEXIBLE IN THE ROLES AND THE WAY SHE ACT IS VERY INSPIRING AND IMITATING.

Fascinating Subject----Terrible Writing Style
Shapiro's incessant corny joking really jars the reader from enjoying the interesting biographical facts about Lucy Lawless' rise to fame. Reminded me of Milan Kundera, the way this writer just could not keep himself out ofthe limelight and let his character/s shine forth.

An incredible insight into Xena fandom
I was one of the people Nikki Stafford interviewed for this book.Sadly, the fan survey she conducted had to be cut from the final version, but a great deal of information was still included.Nikki's research into the show, its stars, and the fans who built an international community around Xena: Warrior Princess in the early years is unsurpassed.

Some other books have since come out which seemed to me to be nothing more than blatant attempts to capitalize on the success of one of the most popular syndicated television shows in history.This book always struck me as something different.But maybe that's just because the author took the time to see what the fans thought and cared about.

Fantastic critical guide to all episodes...
One thing in this book that stands out from the others is that Nikki bothered to comment on the different episodes. This is better than the official book!! I like the way that there is a personal voice in thecomments, and the way that the author dared to criticse it, and add somesuggestions as well. Brilliant work!!

this book is great.it has every thing you need to know about xena.it has a chapter on the broodway production of grease that lucy was in.what lucy and renee were like as kids.it also has two or three pages of comics.if youlove xena you'll live this book.

Very comphrehensive guide to the Xenaverse
This book is the best Xena book I have read, maybe even better than the official one. It contains their biographies and a complete script of one of Lucy and Renee's conventions. It also lists the most websites and groups.The episode guide was very informative. It contained some mistakes that theauthor found with the show. This book is worth every cent!

Always a Warrior Princess
I'm a Xena fan and tried to get my hands on everything or anything XENA.Books are my true love so I managed to get most of them.This is one of the better but it contains alot of already known information for the true Xena fan.It does have a few bits and some good pics so if your a harcore nutball like me, you'll enjoy this.

Obviously not written by someone familiar with XENA
This book is simply a compilation of items mostly available for free on the Internet.The author is a bit sloppy in ascribing sources properly.Things are clipped together and there are many inaccuracies and errors inshow content, episode descriptions, and so forth.There are much betterXENA books out there.

Great way of letting you know Lucy and Xena on a name basis!
This was my first Xena book.Complete with an unauthorized biography, episode guide, xenaverse, and many other unique goodies.Plus it gives you some addresses to write to.Also it has a few pictures.I stronglyrecommend this book to any true Xenite!

this book is not really worth the money you would spend
I think that this book was alright but it could've been way better.There were a lot of errors especially in the episode guide section of the book.I think that the author could have put some of the things she wrote intoher own words.

The format of this book from "LLC Books" looks suspiciously like the books from Alphascript and Betascript Publishing
I was searching for books on New Zealand singers and this book popped up. I can't find any information on the publisher (LLC Books) and the format looks suspiciously like the books from Alphascript and Betascript Publishing, altho there's no mention of Wikipedia content as the source of the content in the blurb. There's approximatel 97,000 titles listed against LLC Books, all of which appear to have sprung up on Amazon overnight. From a quick browse, there's no reviews on these books at all - I wonder if anybody else has hit these and knows anything about the publisher. Is this a genuine publisher and is this a genuine book.

And the problem is, there are numerous publishers whose names end in "Books LLC" making it very very hard to differentiate. After nearly being taken in by a book from Alphascript Publishing, I'm very sceptical of such titles without corroboration that the book's for real. ... Read more
