3-0 out of 5 stars Just wraps up the arc
Enough said really. I'm not exactly sure why they slapped the "All Hail Megatron" title on there. It's essentially just another spotlight collection that ties up all the loose ends in the previous arc and sets it up for the next one.

As far as the actually stories go, they're not bad. They don't blow me away but they definitely aren't horrible.

Really, unless you are a completest (like me ^.^) or just have to know every detail of the story (like me ^.^) you can skip this one. You won't miss much.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Format
AHM 4 utilizes a great new format. 2 Stories per issue. Each story is written by a different author and drawn by a different artist.

This book alone brings you the talent of 7 writers & 7 Artists. There really is something for everyone.

1-0 out of 5 stars Classic bait and switch
For those that enjoyed All Hail Megatron, be aware that Volume 3 and Volume 4 ARE NOT All hail Megatron.Instead, they are a collection of back up stories and Spotlights.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad comics, bad marketing
I felt like they robbed me with those "subpar" comics, dressed up as the continuation of the regular series. If you to read the "all hail megatron" just buy volumes 1 and 2!

3-0 out of 5 stars A set up for the next series
Volume 3 of the All Hail Megatron series gave us background information on some of the characters & situations & this continues on in this fashion. We see how Kup comes back from the dead & how Perceptor gets his new makeover. Also we get to see how the Transformers stories will continue after this series.Galvatron has a new agenda, Starscream attempts to put his mark on the Decepticons but Soundwave is a problem for him.We also see how the humans react to the invasion & what they intend to do about its aftermath.Overall it's a bit of an epilogue to the AHM series & sets the scene for the next series. ... Product Description
Literary short stories by established and emerging writers.

Excerpts:
John S. Walker
Among the Least of These
She was the kind that would hang on, who had the faith of a mustard seed, but brimmed with a severe hope. His father, the pastor of a congregation of Swedish Presbyterians, had spent hours at her bedside when they believed the fever was finally going to take her.

Shimon Tanaka
The Suit
He had seen much of America--it was all an adventure--but the reigning irony seemed to be the way his world had shrunk down to where his life mostly consisted of his part-time job in the dining hall and the desk in his room.

Michael L. Guerra
Plush
This is the kind of intimate detail my father has shared with me over the years. Instead of telling me about his life, he tells me about the people he has encountered along the way.

Patrick Hicks
57 Gatwick
It started when the family of seat 18G wanted to know who sat in 18F. They wanted to send a sympathy card, which turned into a three-page letter, which turned into a phone call.

Kim Brooks
The Houseguest
Auer had tried to explain to her that there were things more important in life than a well-set table and sated babies warm in their beds, but it was 1938, and these were difficult arguments to make.

Rikki Clark
The Widower Garden
Irma and Orly moved into their house when Orly got work at the forge down the block. Even now, you can hear the rhythm of the hydraulic press ironing out the steel at the forge, and all seems right with the world.

Sean Padraic McCarthy
Preservation
Aidan hated leaving her there, seeing her face, pleading with him as he made his way to the door--Judas--but he didn t know what else to do; it was the only daycare even close to working within his budget.

Lisa Graley
Vandalism
There comes a time when you want only to sit on your porch, he told Glenn Turley. You want to think over things you've done or haven't done--not things you're planning to do.

Andrew Thomas Scott
A Shell of Blue Luminosity
Mr. Patel leaned down and said, "Daniel Megargel, we are very sorry for you." From beside him, Mrs. Patel said, "And for Angie." They left the car and walked back toward the office; they kept in step and close together, their shoulders touching.

Terrence Cheng
The Boy
His father was always looking for the next best thing, even though he had worked at the same restaurant ever since he could remember.

Barry Unsworth
Interview by Kevin Rabalais
Joseph Conrad had a wonderful sense of the scene, in which physical environment and the dramatic moment and the actual visual experience all fuse together into a wonderful, memorable scene that lives with you forever.

3-0 out of 5 stars Old school
This is a great book for some real old school recipe. It is a very good find for you Italian chefs out there.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you love Italian, buy this book
I have lots of cookbooks, but this leaves them all on the shelves. This book sits on my counter, ready to be opened and used.I love the recipes, they are simple, capture the true essence of Italian cooking in all its diversity. If I were to have one single cookbook for Italian this would be the one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pucker up!
All of the Saveur cookbooks are beyond just good cookbooks. I have all of them and I would hate to part with any of them. They all have a vast collection of basic and/or not so basic recipes that you'd imagine any type of person cooking, from a peasant to a pro at an expensive restaurant. Each recipe has a picture, which I personally really like, and side notes explaining something more about the recipe.
Excellent cookbooks, whether you're considering the Italian, French or American one, all are highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars authentic, simple recipes
If you are looking for modern Italian food, exclusively southern Italian food, or Italian-American food, this book is not for you.If you want authentic, simple dishes, this is an excellent resource. The recipes are very reliable. One of my favorite Italian cookbooks. Highly recommended.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Flavors of Italy
Saveur has run recipes from Italian cities and Italian chefs in their magazine over the years. This cookbook is a compilation of those articles. This is in no way a "knock" on this book. It actually contains the interesting parts of the stories told relating to many of the dishes. Many of the recipes are very traditional and not very "Italian American". I feel that this is a good thing because it will take the cook closer to Italy and the food served there. ... Read more

Product Description
The great fourteenth-century Persian poet Hafiz is noted for his mystical love poems. The poetry of Hafiz has reached new heights of popularity in the West, yet his poems have been translatred intoEuropean languages for over two hundred years. Hafiz is not a poet to be captured in a single translation. This modernised edition of McCarthy's elegant prose translation gives us a direct Hafiz, full of clear imagery and personal poetry. ... Dramatically pictured with new living art and stirring narrative in a series of authoritative volumes to enrich the interest and appreciation of young Americans in their heritage of freedom and equality.Interestingly enough, Richard Nixon quote at the beginning states: "Your Obligation is to the law in the highest sense, and not to the President who appointed your." At end of book, there is an interesting quote by Senator Jennings Randolph which suits today as well as 1971: "Protection of the capitol is a complex and delicate matter. We must secure it from attack while securing for all citizens total access to this symbol of our liberty." ... Read more
