Auszug: Margaret Eleanor Atwood, CC, O.Ont, FRSC (born November 18, 1939) is a Canadian author, poet, critic, essayist, feminist and social campaigner. While she may be best known for her work as a novelist, she is also an award winning poet, having published 15 books of poetry to date. She did not attend school full-time until she was 11 years old in sixth grade. She became a voracious reader of literature, Dell pocketbook mysteries, Grimm's Fairy Tales, Canadian animal stories, and comic books. She attended Leaside High School in Leaside, Toronto and graduated in 1957. Atwood began writing at age six and realized she wanted to write professionally when she was 16. 2-0 out of 5 stars This is not an alanis interveiw
Dont not buy this product if you think you are going to get hours of Alanis talking and being asked questions. Thats not what it is. That is what i was exprecting but no i was wrong. This CD is just this British woman talking about Alanis' life and her career. It only has 15 second clips of Alanis talking at the beginning of each track. This CD is not what it may seem. The Mini poster is kind of cool though, but overall it is not worth it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Alanis Morissette
This is the second Alanis book written. In many forms it comes with an interview cd that is 43 minutes long. It is very cool (the interview). The book has the first awesome information written on Alanis. Well, in that time. It is now out dated. He only has information on one new song "No Pressure Over Cappuccino" and has some inaccurate information. However, the interview cd gives him an extra star. Good pictures, there's even one on the interview cd. It is a very small book. But, all in all, pretty good. ... Read more

Excerpt: George Harrison, MBE (25 February 1943 29 November 2001) was an English rock guitarist, singer-songwriter and film producer who achieved international fame as lead guitarist of The Beatles. Often referred to as "the quiet Beatle", Harrison embraced Indian mysticism, and helped broaden the horizons of the other Beatles, as well as those of their Western audience. Following the band's breakup, he had a successful career as a solo artist and later as part of the Traveling Wilburys, and also as a film and record producer. Harrison is listed at number 21 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 100 Best Guitarists of All Time". He was voted into the list of "The Best 100 Musicians" by music fans. Excerpt: Alanis Nadine Morissette (born 1 June 1974) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. She has won 12 Juno Awards and seven Grammy Awards. Morissette began her career in Canada, and as a teenager recorded two dance-pop albums, Alanis and Now Is the Time, under MCA Records. Her worldwide debut album was the rock-influenced Jagged Little Pill, which remains the best-selling debut album by a female artist in the U.S., and the highest selling debut album worldwide, selling 30 million units globally. Her following album, Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, was released in 1998 and was a success as well. Morissette took up producing duties for her subsequent albums, which include Under Rug Swept, So-Called Chaos and Flavors of Entanglement. Morissette has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. In February 2005, Morissette became a naturalized citizen of the United States while maintaining her Canadian citizenship. Morissette was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Georgia Mary Ann (née Feuerstein), a Jewish-Hungarian teacher, and Alan Richard Morissette, a French-Canadian high school principal. Morissette's parents were devout Catholics. She has a twin brother, Wade, and an older brother, Chad. At six, she began playing the piano. In 1984, Morissette wrote her first song, "Fate Stay with Me", which she sent to a local folk singer, Lindsay Morgan, who recruited Morissette as her protégé. Morissette released "Fate Stay with Me" as a single via a label she founded with Morgan. A limi...More: http://booksllc.net/?id=60328 ... Read more
