Product Description
Jeff’s Way tells the story of Jeffrey Collman, the sole male flight attendant killed aboard American Airlines flight 11, the first of four commercial airline flights hijacked on 9/11.

Jeff was a happy, ebullient, loving man vehemently committed to his partner of 11 years, Keith Bradkowski. Jeff’s Way takes you aboard hijacked flight 11. Heroes emerge when courageous crew members become the first soldiers in the war on terror by calling the ground to tell the world what was happening aboard the ill-fated flight.

Jeff’s Way shows how love, commitment, and dedication transcend gender, and overcome every obstacle.

5-0 out of 5 stars Jeff's Way
Good book, actually he was friend of mine since 1995. I still miss him. He always had a story to tell after his flights about who he met and how much he loved his job. My heart goes out to Keith and all the family members who lost loved ones that day!

5-0 out of 5 stars a powerful story for a powerful time in our history
Jeff's Way is a wonderful love story about friends and relationships that were shattered by 9/11.Jeff's life was cut painfully short by hi-jackers on American Airlines flight 11, the first attack on the World Trade Center. This is one of thousands of relationships that changed lives forever. The story is very well told by author Doug O'Keeffe.
Thank you for preserving these important memories.

5-0 out of 5 stars Truely a good read
A very thought provoking, fast read.I could not put this book down until I finished it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellently researched biography
This is truly a touching story of the love between Jeff Collman and his partner, Keith, and does a wonderful service in shining the light on the flight attendants of 9/11, who haven't been given nearly enough press for their bravery and actions under the hellish conditions they had to deal with on that day.Wach story is important, and I know that Doug O'Keeffe, as a flight attendant himself, has a special empathy for his subject.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Tribute
It is an honour to have known Jeff and to know the author Douglas - this is a very moving and thought-provoking piece of reading to gain an insight into the life and love of this wonderful man and his partner Keith. It is a tribute to the lives of all the crew who died that day and to the battle for recognition that is still being fought. Keep the tissue handy. It will appeal to all, gay, straight, airline staff or not - a story that needed to be told and is done so with such compassion and grace.Neil - Australia ... Read more

He piloted both two-man and four-man bobsleigh, retiring after the 2010 Winter Olympics. In June 2010, he was named coach of the Canadian bobsleigh team. Lueders grew up in Edmonton and went to Winterburn School for elementary and junior high. He also attended Jasper Place High School for grades 10 through 12. A five-time olympian, Lueders is the most decorated slider in Canadian history. He was the pilot of the Canadian two-man bobsleigh team, winner of the gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics (shared with Italy). This was only Canada's second ever medal in bobsleigh. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City Lueders placed a disappointing fifth place finish in two-man, and ninth in four-man, causing him to take the 2002-03 season off in four-man. Lueders also won eight medals at the FIBT World Championships with two golds (Two-man: 2004, 2005), seven silvers (Two-man: 1995, 1996, 2003; Four-man: 2007) and two bronzes (Four-man: 1999, 2005). Pierre Lueders has won 85 career medals in the Bobsleigh World Cup. In 2006, he turned down the offer to carry the Canadian flag during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. During the two-man event he and his brakeman Lascelles Brown won silver despite having to contend with heavy snowfall. Lued...http://booksllc.net/?l=de ... Read more
