book and looking at his poetry, Duncan also writes an autobiographical narrative which gave myself and others a look at duncan as a man behind the art, poetry and acting, It is an Incredible book and well worth the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Poetic imagery of an artisitic genius
Duncan Regehr is a multi-talented, multi-faceted man.He is an accomplished actor, writer and poet. But it is in his stunning use of colour, strong draftsmanship and attention to detail of his art that he truly shines. In addition to a candid look at the man behind the art, poetry, prose and acting,"The Dragon's Eye" has over 150 images, most in full colour. Designated a Royal Canadian Artist at a young age, Regehr is destined to be recognised as one of the art world's Masters within his lifetime ~ as evidenced by consistent sales and continued increase in the value of his work. His autographs as well have become highly collectible since he no longer signs them publicly. His art is a visual treat, teasing the emotions, and awakening the soul to its vast potentials.

5-0 out of 5 stars this book is amazing
Royal Canadian Artist Duncan Regehr is an amazing talent and a powerful voice in the art world. The Dragon's Eye: an Artist's View is a briliant combination of Mr. Regehr's art and poetry as well as interesting biographical information. Whether the reader is an art collector, a poetry lover, or a fan of Mr. Regehr's acting, this book is a welcome addition to their collection.
Since Mr. Regehr no longer gives public autographs, a chance to get an autographed copy of his first book is a real treat. I have spent hours studying every painting shown in the book, but no matter how often I look at it, I always find some new meaning or new beauty to admire.

5-0 out of 5 stars A gift for color
Duncan Regehr is a Canadian actor, painter and poet. This book is a catalogue of his paintings and poetry dating from youth up until around 1995. His poetry is evocative and full of imagery but it is his artwork that truly captures your attention. It consists of masterpieces of color and texture, depicting strange, beautiful characters in dreamlike surroundings. This book is an excellent addition to an art collection and well worth the price if you can find it... ... Read more

Product Description
At the crossroads of life, the scarecrow watches the world with eyes both patient and protesting, aware of the paradox of it s own being tethered in humanity and brother to the wind. In Scarecrow, a remarkable first book of poetry, artist, author and actor Duncan Regehr explores the metaphor of line the line of verse, the line of the pencil, the lay lines of the land of the scarecrow s domain in an artistic vision that is both penetrating and prophetic. From the ordinary to the surreal, Regehr's work invites the reader into an elemental universe where nature and culture are in constant interplay on a dancing gyre of shadow and truth. Alternating between bright glimpses and dark intuitions, the poet draws with words the images which the artist pens, to offer an elegant work of grace and meaning which echoes in the heart s imagination. ...
