If you ever shopped Patelson's NYC - you'd know exactly what this score looks like, the quality of paper and clarity of sight - it's great.

The seller was very kind and communicative. She noted my home address and seeing that we lived near each other asked if buyer would just like to pick it up and save shipping. The item itself was in the condition it was noted. Very happy with my purchase, and would purchase again from seller.

French opera + Italian libretto = Useless everywhere but Italy
This is a piano reduction of the score, but in the lyrics are *only* in Italian, and not the original French.Even if it were in English, at least it would be useful for a U.S. production.As it is, it would only be suitable for an Italian audience, and probably not even then, as a European opera-goer would have fewer qualms about seeing it in the original language.

The Amazon product description did not contain enough information to know this before ordering, though the fact that it was published by Ricordi should have been a tip-off. ... Read more
