The sixth stop for the show was in Kitchener, Ontario, and it was also the cast's third in a row. Presumably tired, you'd never be able to detect the skaters' fatigue, as it was clear from the beginning they were skating for Scott Hamilton. Opening the show to "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye, each skater and duo had a chance to show an impressive movement. Centered around Hamilton, the cast left the ice while he stayed and performed to "I've Got You" by James Brown. Skating with his infamous humourous style, the audience loved it as Hamilton interacted with the crowd, drawing them into the performance. Finishing the program, Hamilton stood on the ice as a young skater came out performing to "A Song for You" also by James Brown. With a gesture of his hand, Hamilton directed the boy's attention to Maria Butyrskaya and the beginning of a section entitled, 'New Moon In the Old Moon's Arms'.

Ice Skating Milestones I am now ISI Special Skater Level 9! I passed my ISI Special Skater Level 9 test on February 25, 2003the day before we left to go to Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada to compete in the North Shore International. There is only one more level in ISI Special Skater, Level 10, and that is my final goal!! I am now doing waltz jumps with a one-foot landing! In Canada, I am Special Olympics Level 2, almost Level 3. There is a little difference in the levels with the USFSA Special Olympics requirements and the Canadian Special Olympics Skating Requirements, which is why I am Level 3 in the USA and Level 2 in Canada. My 3 turns and edges are awesome since getting my new skates! I am enrolled in the low level stroking class at Icesports on Friday afternoons. I am really excited about this class. I am the only Special Skater in this class. I have a nice coach and she works me as hard as the other students. I am not at the top of the class but that's ok because I still love it!!

They were married on July 22, 1995. They currently are performing as part of the Target Stars on Ice cast which is in the middle of a 65-city tour. ISW: When did you each begin skating? Did you start with group or private lessons, or both? JM: I started doing group lessons around age six or seven. And I did group lessons first, then started doing semi-private followed by private lessons. TS: I started skating when I was eight years old doing group lessons. Then, I started taking private lessons when I was ten. ISW: How did you decide that you wanted to take skating lessons? JM: Well, I had two Aunts that are not that much older than me. They are maybe five and eight years older, and they started taking lessons. My uncle gave me skates for Christmas and, of course, I wanted to do what my older aunts were doing. So, I started taking lessons also and we were actually in our first ice show together. TS: It was just one of those things. To be honest, I had trouble with my ears when I was young, and my doctor said I could not stay on the baseball field, so my mom took me ice skating. She asked if it was o.k. to take me ice skating. So, she took me to the local rink and I loved it. I started taking group lessons. And it just kind of went from there. I looked forward to it every weekend and I would do the group lessons and skate the public session for a few hours afterward. I just loved it.
