Another title held by the Lindsays was that of Spynie, Sir Alexander Lindsay (c. 1555—1607), created Baron Spynie in 1590, being a younger son of the 10th earl of Crawford. The 2nd Lord Spynie was Alexander’s son, Alexander (d. 1646), who served in Germany under Gustavus Adolphus and assisted Charles I. in Scotland during the Civil War; and the 3rd lord was the latter’s son, George. When George, a royalist who was taken prisoner at the battle of Worcester, died in 1671 this title became extinct. The dukedom of Montrose, which had lapsed on the death of the 5th earl of Crawford ~fl 1495 and had been revived in 1707 ill the Graham family, was claimed in 1848 by the 24th earl of Crawford, but in 1853 the House of Lords gave judgment against the earl. The Lindsays have furnished the Scottish church with several prelates. John Lindsay (d. 1335) was bishop of Glasgow; Alexander Lindsay (d. 1639) was bishop of Dunkeld until he was deposed in 1638; David Lindsay (d. C. 1641) was bishop of Brechin and then of Edinburgh until he, too, was deposed in 1638; and a similar fate attended Patrick Lindsay (1566—1644), bishop of Ross from 1613 to 1633 and archbishop of Glasgow from 1633 to 1638. Perhaps the most famous of the Lindsay prelates was David Lindsay (c. 1531—1613), a nephew of the oth earl of Crawford. David, who married James VI. to Anne of Denmark at Upsala, was one of the leaders of the Kirk party; he became bishop of Ross under the new scheme for establishing episcopacy in 1600.

Timeline of Positive New Thought and Positive Thinking Authors
Belief in the human spirit, in oneself and in the process of life are the basic tenets of New Thought and Positive Thinking literature. The basic theory is that the stories we tell ourselves determine how our lives will go.
Authors are listed in the order of their first book's earliest known date of publication. Many titles are linked to Amazon.com. Click on the title to read more detailed descriptions. You can also look up the authors at Mlvyl, the University of California library database: click here for Mlvyl . Here's a Positive Thought
American mystic Vernon Howard (1918 - 1992) taught us that pictures communicate large amounts of data to the mind. He gave us Psycho-Pictography: The New Way to Use the Miracle Power of Your Mind (1965). The book offers dozens of healing pictures. Following is an example of a healing psycho-pictograph. Contemplate this story whenever you're afraid of a person who abuses power.
"Suppose you see a tiger in a zoo. Now, you know very well that this tiger is a cruel and vicious animal. He would destroy you if he could. You understand his ferocity, yet you are unafraid of him; his cruelty does not alarm you. Why are you fearless? Because you know he is powerless to harm you. The bars protect you. A little history of Turner Cemetery:
It is believed that the first internment at Turner Cemetery was George Washington Turner who died 30 Dec 1860 at the age of 45 years. A flat white stone marks the grave near the SW corner of the farm where lived Section 27 Crawford Township, Buchanan County, MO. For a time the cemetery was used by the family and others also as a public burying ground.
On March 8, 1879 a daughter, Sarah Jane Turner, made a deed of trust for 15 rods square. The trustees named were Alvis Turner, Jarrod Boyd and Allen Russell. The property was to used as a cemetery and to be called the Turner Cemetery. If a trustee resigns or dies the remaining trustees select and elect one to replace that one.
Some time in the 1940's it was plotted, a map drawn and grave lots numbered and lot markers of concrete were installed Helpful information for data below: You should find this information in standard genealogy format. If spouse is known, spouses name will appear in parenthesis. D/o means daughter of and s/o means son of. Any underlining means entry was not readable. Information below is what appears on the headstone of those buried in Turner cemetery:

This listing of burials in a Colorado cemetery is a listing of only the burials where the headstone, or an associated marker, has an indication that the person belonged to one of the following organizations, or was a relative of the person who belonged to the organization. It is not meant to suggest that it is a complete listing of everyone buried in the cemetery, nor a listing of everyone from those organizations who is buried in the cemetery. For the most part the organizations began putting the identification on the tombstones in about 1880 and quit about 1935, though a few are occasionally seen with later death dates. COOPER CEMETERY Listing Compiled by Roberta B. Doty and Evelyn E. Cole Fall 1992 This large neat cemetery is located on the north side of US 190 several miles west of De Ridder, next door to the Beauregard Forestry Nursery. There is a drive-thru driveway. The older (original) section is in the front next to Cooper Church. In this older section, there are several large shade trees. In traveling past Cooper, it always seems well cared for. Annotations by La Vaughn H. "LV" Hayes are preceded by LVH. Corrections and/or additions should be sent to LV Hayes
