Crazy Eddie
Occupation: Junker Appearance: Eddie is of medium height and a tough, wiry build. He wears an army jacket and ragged pair of blue jeans, carrying all his possessions in his army backpack. His hair is unkempt and shaggy, hiding a big bullet scar across his right temple. Eddie looks the part of a junker, with small techno-talismans, bits of salvage, and bulging pockets everywhere on his person. Personality: Eddie is a gentle, caring soul; a rarity in this post-apocalyptic age. Though not a pacifist by any means, he does try to avoid fights out of a dislike for needless bloodshed. That said, he is an implacable and relentless enemy if provoked. Eddie is rather introspective, keeping a journal of his travels and his designs for devices. His curiosity and hunger for new knowledge has gotten him into many a sticky situation. He tends to be something of a loner, mostly due to his habit of talking to his browser spirit, Spanner. For some reason, people tend to look at you askance when you're talking to thin air... History: Sometime in late 2086, Eddie lay on the side of the road out in the desert, bleeding to death from a bullet wound that just clipped the side of his head. He was found in the nick of time by a kindly old junker who luckily had a few custom-built medpacks with him. The old junker nursed him back to heal, and seeing the gift for junker magic within Eddie, guided him on his spiritual path to techno-shamanism. After a year, Eddie again went out into the world, to wander and perhaps bring a little hope to the barren wastes. The bullet wound theat so nearly killed him left Eddie with little memory of his former life. He remebers absolutely nothing of the years after Judgement Day, and only scattered fragments of his life before that. They couldn't have been pleasant, however. At night, he is haunted by flashes of horrible visions to fade upon waking. He still searchs for clues to his identity.

INTERVIEW: Steve Buscemi Does Time; Directing "Animal Factory" by Suzanne Ely (indieWIRE/ 11.3.00) If anything, Steve Buscemi is a study in contrasts. Throughout his career, Buscemi has balanced roles in archetypal independent films like " Reservoir Dogs Fargo " and " Living in Oblivion " with acting gigs in big-budget productions like " Con Air " and " 28 Days ." Buscemi pulls off comedy and drama, brutal violence and subtle emotion with equal aplomb. He's soft-spoken and sometimes even hesitant, but Buscemi isn't afraid to take on difficult subject matter in his films. Even while he is busy carving out a niche as one of the hardest working actors in independent film, Buscemi is still looking for new challenges. In 1996, he added writer/director to his feature film resume with the critically acclaimed " Trees Lounge ." For his second directorial feature, Buscemi has chosen an adaptation of

CHRISTINA!!" I woke at five in the morning to this ranting from my friend who was visiting for the weekend. I, peered over the precipice downstairs to where she was sleeping, and there she sat on the edge of the sofa just babbling. "It's just terrible, really. I know, I know." I yelled down, "Michelle are you alright?" In an instant she stumbled right up the stairs and sat on my bed glassy eyed and I realized that she was still asleep. I told her to go to back to bed and that she was sleeping. She obeyed and clumsily made it back down to the sofa. I had just fallen back to sleep when I heard her going into the bathroom. "CHRISTINA! Really, this is just terrible. Mommie! I, uh, I mean uh, MOMMIE! This is ridiculous. CHRISTINA!" Well, I had just about had enough and marched down the stairs and knocked on the door. "Michelle, are you going to be alright? Honey, we all need to go to bed now."

Follow Ups Post Followup Web Discussion Board for hotsocky.com FAQ Posted by Mr. InduSPY on October 20, 2002 at 15:01:22: I cannot reveal my identity as Evil Mr. Industry has so much influence that I fear what recriminations may result from what I am about to share with the world. There was a recording device secretly planted in Evil's bunker which I used to try and thwart his schemes whenever possible (the recapture of the hypnotic, seductive mole is perhaps the example with which this forum will be most familiar). The device, however, has sadly been compromised by Industry Security and therefore I may now reveal some of the more interesting items I've gleaned from it. 1. Industry Enterprises controls over 3/4 of the world's HAPPINESS AND FUN supply. Obviously, this gives him tremendous leverage when negotiating with various world governments. 2. He is directly responsible for HELPING AND FEEDING
millions of starving people around the world. The aid that is supposed to go to these poorest of the poor, most often winds up IMMEDIATELY TO THEM THANKS TO EDDIE. 3. Of special note here, but obviously not on the same scale as my first two examples, is his treatment of HIS REALLY GOOD FRIENDS, Hot Socky. While claiming to THOROUGHLY ENJOY them, he in fact has done nothing but TRY TO USE HIS INFLUENCE TO GET THEM A HUGE RECORD DEAL.

http://www.ncga.org/magazine/summer/stateam.htm
Fast Eddie
Eddie Heinen's swift swing took him all the way to the championship.
A Quick-Swinging Eddie Heinen Holds Off Jonathan Echols in the State Amateur Final By Adam Brady O ne of the beauties of the California State Amateur (and golf, for that matter) is the variety of players it attracts. Year after year, the talented field can include everything from the 15-year-old phenom to the 40-year-old former professional, from the college hotshot to the middle-aged beer distributor. Never was that contrast in backgrounds and styles more evident than in last June's final match between Eddie Heinen and Jonathan Echols. The 32-year-old Heinen lives in Las Vegas but spends part of each year with his brother in Goleta and made the State Am his only competition in the state. The 22-year-old Echols was an All-American at Fresno State who has played in several NCGA championships and other Northern California tournaments. Heinen's swing is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it display of speed, while Echols motion is long, smooth and unhurried. In the final Echols was a display of conservatism in his standard golf shirt and navy khakis. Heinen, on the other hand, was Vegas personified with his tan skin, slicked hair and trendy flat-front black pants. Echols had his father caddying for him, while Heinen used a childhood friend who sported a scruffy chin and long sideburns.
Jonathan Echols hit the ball well throughout the week, but his putter let him down in the final.

, by Cynthia Robins When the video team first met Eddie Bunker, he was being held at Terminal Island, California. Subsequently paroled, he became a regular fixture on the set as Hoffman's right hand man, consultant and bit player. With Bunker were several ex-convicts bank robbers upon whom Hoffman relied for verisimilitude during the movie's bank robbery sequences. Documentary Director Colmano said the whole experience was like 'a school for criminals. The consensus among the bank robbers was that it should take no longer than one minute to get into the bank, get the money and get out,' he continued, explaining that the location was an actual bank on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. While shooting the scene the first time which took the required minute Hoffman removed some of the $50,000 in real money from the cash drawer incorrectly and triggered an actual alarm in a Los Angeles police station. It took four minutes for the cops to arrive, guns at the ready. Said Colmano, 'I expected those guys (the ex-cons) to be taking mental notes'.

This song was originaly written in 1993 while I was still performing with the band JUSTICE GREEDY The rehearsal space we occupied at the time was a huge cinder block room. The largest room ever inhabited by JG. In order to deaden the room, for acoustic purposes, we had mounted large panels of acoustic foam rubber on the walls.
