Important Announcement about Dr. Amy Holmes !
( Referral List to Other DAN! Doctors who Offer Mercury Detoxification Treatments )
It is with great regrets that we must inform you that due to health reasons, Dr. Amy Holmes is no longer able to continue in her practice and will not be able to personally reply to your emails regarding the chelation of mercury in the treatment of autism or other related matters. Dr. Amy - as many of you know her - is a physician-mother of an autistic child, and (along with Dr. Stephanie Cave , author of the book, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's Vaccinations ) had been exploring the testing and treatment for mercury poisoning in autistic spectrum children for several years in her Baton Rouge, Louisiana clinic. She was a leading practitioner of oral chelation for children who showed evidence of brain mercury and one of a group of physicians who pioneered a new direction in medical detoxification of children based on careful attention to testing and nutrient/mineral supplementation. She and her group were working with around 800 patients (and a very long waiting list) in treatment for heavy metal toxicity; her own autistic son who was non-verbal at four years of age is totally off the spectrum and normal in most ways after two years of chelation. Previous chelation protocols for children have not been adequately defined and effective to our knowledge, especially since what we're seeing in these epidemic proportions is a newly defined syndrome called "regressive" or "late onset" autism.

A two generation descendant report is provided for John Halford. A great many Halfords trace their line to John Halford and Nancy Dalton of Rutherford County, North Carolina, in the late 1700s. However, I am convinced that there is much confusion about relationships in this family. (ex. Nancy Dalton was actually Sally Dalton) I am convinced that John Halford's parents were John and Lucy Halford and that some of the children assigned to John, Jr., were actually his siblings. I have provided documentation with this report and I need your help to either confirm or discredit some of the assumptions I have made. Knowledge of relevant primary records would be greatly appreciated. If you want a narrative analysis of the Rutherford County Halfords, visit my "Halford: Research Report" file below. If you want information on more than 17,000 people realted to Halfords, check my link to "Halford: Southern US."
I would appreciate any additions, corrections, or verifications you can offer to my genealogy. I am happy to share what I have about the families listed.
    Happy Hunting!

Carl Peter Kruse by Michael W. Kruse Origins Carl Peter Kruse was born 12 Oct 1851 at Ribe, Denmark. Ribe is believed to be the oldest town in Denmark. Ribe was a very active seaport and the capital of Denmark about 1,000 years ago. However, by the Middle Ages, the town dwindled to just a few thousand inhabitants. The area is quite flat and is mostly marsh and grassland. The most notable landmark in the area is the Domkirk (Cathedral). It is at the center of Ribe and is several centuries old. A notable person from Ribe was the American social reformer Jacob Riis. Riis became famous for his photo essays of New York City tenements in the 1890s and 1900s. His work spawned major welfare reform movements in the early 1900s. Riis describes his childhood in the early chapters of his autobiography, "The Making of an American." Since Riis was only two years older than Carl Peter Kruse, his description of Ribe covers the very time that Carl Peter lived there. Carl Peter’s grandparents were Anders Jensen Kruse (1769-1858) and Kirsten Nielsdatter (1769-1833). Danish census records indicate that Ander’s birthplace was Ribe, but I have been unable to find record of him before 1804. He was a shoemaker and appears to have held leadership positions in the Ribe Amt (county) shoemakers guild. After Kirsten died in 1833, Anders married Else Marie Fuglebeck (about 1802 – after 1870) and had five more children in addition to two documented children from the first marriage. One of the first two children was Jens Andersen Kruse.

    60. John Clay's Grandfather
mother, but they were already married when REDH occured, and Sherlock holmes shouldhave mentioned his mother was a Royal Duchess. Mary augusta Louise Olga
    http://www.parkcity.ne.jp/~hirayama/claygrandfather.htm
John Clay's Grandfather By Hirayama Yuichi Sherlock Holmes said that John Clay's grandfather "was a Royal Duke, and he himself has been to Eton and Oxford," in REDH. Richard Lancelyn Green wrote in his footnote of The Oxford Sherlock Holmes "the grandfather would have been one of the four sons of George III (1738 - 1820) who were not enthroned." This theory is widely known in the Sherlockian world. In his Practical Handbook of Sherlockian Heraldry , Julian Wolff said "It is generally agreed that John Clay's grandfather was one of the seven sons of George III because they were the Royal Dukes who were in action during the epoch that his link with royalty was forged." Jabez Wilson discribed John Clay as "not short of thirty." As this case occured in 1887 (Baring-Gould), 1889 (Folsom and Zeisler) or 1890 (Bell, Blakeney, Brend, Christ, Dakin and Hall), Clay would have been born before 1860. Wilson also stated "he's not such a youth either. It's hard to say his age." Holmes called him "young John Clay." Clay would have been in his thirties, or might have been in his early forties. Namely, he was born between about 1845 to 1860. John Clay had no titles. Holmes mentioned him as "Mr. John Clay." Inspector Jones called him as "your highness," but it was a joke. His father would not have been a peer.
