There is an online Feri discussion group , at Yahoo. On Sept. 20, 2001, Victor Anderson, GrandMaster of the Feri tradition, passed away from the world of the living, and joined the ranks of the Mighty Dead. Though I never met him in this life, I feel the loss of him.
The Grandfather of the Feri tribe, we who call ourselves Fae owe our very Craft to him.
Thank you, Victor, for bringing Feri to the world! Blessed be.

http://www.odyssy.net/users/erica/wicca/traditions.htm
Traditions Religion is first broken down into types of belief: Polytheists: Belief in more than one God, many Gods. Worship of both God and Goddess, regarding self as Priestess or Priest of the Earth Mother. The rituals mark seasonal turnings. They plant crops by the phases of the moon, herbal remedies to heal. "The Body is Thy Temple". Animism: A reality that all things are imbued with vitality. From rocks and trees to dreams. Partaking in the life force. Belief that all forms of organic life have their origin in the soul; that all natural objects have a soul. Pantheism: Doctrine that identifies God with the Universe, everything being considered as part of or manifestation of him. Where a craft Priestess becomes Goddess within a ritual circle. "Thou art Goddess". Monotheism: One God, one way, one faith and one belief. Atheist disbelief in the existantance of God. Because there are new Traditions being created every day, I cannot possibly name them all. I just ran into one the other night that is only 10 years old. I am only listing out now some of the Wiccan/Pagan and Craft religious traditions, I will not attempt to go into world-wide religion and all of its different branches. If you know of one that should be listed here, please feel free to email me. You can also find some traditional links at Rosebud's Garden Gardnerian
England Founder Gerald B Gardner, 1950's. This is considered the first modern denomination of the Craft. He is said to be the grandfather of Wicca. This tradition places more emphasis in the Goddess. Having a system of degrees, and does not accept self-initiation. They work skyclad and try to keep equal numbers of males and females within the covens. You will have to also take into consideration Gardner corresponded with Crowley.

The remnant of our people
Sweeping westward, wild and woeful,
Like the cloud-rach of a tempest,

- The Tain Bo Cuailgne, 4th Century Based on ancient Ireland, Eire, Gods of the Tuatha De Danann. Came to be oral Faery Tradition; it was also esoteric-christian, which flourished before the crusades. Norse Mythology relate how the maggots emerging from the corpse of the giant Ymir transformed themselves into the Light Elves and the Dark Elves. The Icelandic version, know as Huldre Folk in the Scandinavian countries, states that Lilith (Lilu?) was washing her children when God spoke to her. In her fear she hid the children that had not been washed yet. When God had asked if these were all her children, she replied, yes. He then declared that those she had hidden from him would be hidden from man. On another note here, Lullabies were sang to babies so that Lilu would not hear them cry, as it was lore she would take them to replace her own children she lost daily. In Devon, pixies are to be the souls of unbaptised children. That faeries were the heathen dead, not good enough for heaven, but not bad enough for hell.

Faery and Human: A Healing Connection
an interview with R. J. Stewart by Sophia Frowert
As I began my first inner journey into the Faery realm within the body of the land, I remember feeling a sense of fear. When I thought about it later, I realized that I had come to accept, largely unconsciously, the belief that the devil and his minions resided in the earth, and that going there was to be avoided at all costs. Far from encountering a negative presence, I discovered a landscape of light inhabited by beings willing to work with me in a co-creative relationship based on mutual love and respect. They were faery beings, and that was eight years ago. Since that time, I have connected with the Faery many times to work toward health and balance in others, the planet, and myself. The guide who led the others and myself that day on that journey was teacher, author, and composer R. J. Stewart (right). Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, he comes from a Gaelic and Welsh-speaking family. In 1996, R. J. was admitted to the United States as a "resident alien of extraordinary ability," a category awarded only to immigrants of outstanding achievement in the arts and sciences. An experienced workshop leader, R. J. has taught in the United Kingdom and the United States since 1988. Today he focuses on innovative material developed out of the foundations of tradition. I interviewed R. J. recently on his work with the Faery tradition.
