Ahern joined Special Olympics Team USA athletes from the Washington-Metropolitan area to celebrate "100 Days 'Til the Special Olympics World Games" in Dublin. This June, over 7,000 athletes from 150 countries will descend on the island of Ireland to compete in the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games.

    State Summer Games
    Stevens Point June 5-7 This year's State Summer Games are scheduled to take place from June 5-7 in Stevens Point. Over 2,000 athletes will compete in Swimming, Soccer and Athletics. The opening ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. June 5 at Goerke Park and will feature a Jumbotron video screen. This year's Victory Village will offer product sampling, souveniers, concessions and Delta Dental's Healthy Athlete Initiative. Click here for more information
