OSU is looking for two separate assistants. One for the cheer program and one for the dance program. Both assistants would help with choreography and practice/game coverage. Objectives of the Oregon State Cheerleading Program are to promote crowd involvement and good sportsmanship at athletic contests through interactive activities with the band and mascot. Cheerleaders are expected to represent the OSU Athletic Department, student body, and University in positive and constructive ways at all times (in and out of uniform.) Our program also provides entertainment and generates fan enthusiasm and response during contests as well as promotes spirit on campus and within the community. OSU Cheerleaders must have the capability to execute cheerleading skills at a competitive level. This page is updated frequently. Please check back.

Extractions: Die Trainer Stefan Guhl und Melanie Schröder zeigten sich sichtlich enttäuscht. Waren doch gute Trainingsmöglichkeiten in zentralen Lagen vorhanden. Aber viel der Mädchen wollten oder konnten die Leistungen nicht erbringen. So wurden die richtig "Aktiven" an andere Vereine empfohlen und die anderen bleiben auch weiterhin zuhause. Cheerleading ist ein echter Sport, in dem es ohne ein richtiges (hartes) Training nicht geht. Deshalb wurden von den Pioneers extrem gute Coaches mit sehr viel Erfahrung verpflichtet und eine selbstündige Abteilungsleitung unter Lars Lindemann installiert. Eigentlich für die Aktiven, welche den Sport ausüben wollen eine sehr gute Sache, aber..... no comment! Die Masse war zwar schnell Mitglied und viele Neue kamen ständig hinzu, aber der Trainigsfleiß war zum großteil "Grottenschlecht". Die Abteilungsleitung, die Trainer und einige Aktive waren dadurch immer wieder sehr entäuscht.
